    2. I have received an e-copy of this book in exchange for a review on GR or . I enjoyed a lot Written in the stars. It was easy to read, the dialogue and the descriptions were nice, and I loved the story. 4 centuries ago, Elizabeth York came at Dunham Castle to honor her father's request and to marry Carlyle, Duke of Lennox's son. But when Elizabeth meets Will Grey, the Duke's bastard son, she fell in love with him and it is in her destiny to love the one she can't have. Born under a magic sign, El [...]

    3. Can love conquer all? Even time?Gripping story about a love stronger than time itself. About duty and honour. About family and what you would do to protect your loved ones. About magic and helping to set right what once went so wrong before history repeats itself. About second chances and destiny. But mostly about the power of true love. This story caught me by surprise. Didn't expect to love it as much as I didC provided by editor for an honest review.

    7. This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review by Entangled Publishing. To me book covers is what first makes me want to read a book and this one screamed for me to grab the book and start reading. Just by looking at this gorgeous cover you can see it tells a tale of two stories at different times that was touched by magic. I have never read any books of these two authors so when asked to review, I gladly said yes because I am always in the market to find new authors that intrigue my [...]

    8. I have to say, I hesitated when offered this book for review. I don’t read many historicals anymore. There is nothing wrong with them, I just got burnt out on them for a while and now they just aren’t my first choice in the romance genre. However, this story and the premise sounded so intriguing that I couldn’t pass up the chance. I am so glad I didn’t. This book is right up there with the top books I have read this summer. In the first story, we have the story of Elizabeth and Will. A tr [...]

    9. The magic and the mysteries of love and time…This reader does not believe in reincarnation but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy such a tale and wonder at the possibilities it brings to mind. Imagine a love so true that is tragically cut short yet so strong it survives through time until it can once again be realized; as two souls meet again when the stars are aligned for them to do so. In a combination of historical and contemporary these two authors weave us a tale of soul mates whose love [...]

    10. My Review: 4.5 StarsHistorical fiction is one of my absolute favorite genres. This particular work also excellently wove together historical fiction, romance, mysticism, suspense, and love. I absolutely adored the characters and didn’t have any trouble relating to the characters or the time shift. I found the story and characters easy to identify with. Lady Elizabeth, approached Dunham Castle, ready to accept her fate as Carlyle’s bride, without ever meeting him. She is pleasantly surprised [...]

    11. Posted on What I'm ReadingI truly love stories with two different story lines that work together. Not many people like the whole idea of jumping to the present to the past. However, when done in a way that makes the reader enjoy it, now that's a talent. Now Sherrill Bodine and Patricia Rosemoor bring us such a story in Written in the Stars. As I read the story, I love how the authors start off in the present day and take us back in time by a journal. So, we see the story of Lady Elizabeth York a [...]

    13. WRITTEN IN THE STARS by Patricia Rosemoor & Sherrill Bodineis an exciting Paranormal Romance, set in 1601 England and present day. Nightmare or truth, victim or killer? This is the question that plagues Marine Archeologist Cordelia Ward,as she is romantically pursued by Innis Foley, a salvager and Morgan Murphy, a treasure hunter.but in 1601 or there about, Lady Elizabeth York, has a birthmark that marks her as a "child of magic" and she is betrothed to the heir to the Duke of Lennox, Carlyle, [...]

    15. Rating: 4 1/2 starsI received this book for review from the publisher and the author. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. What I love about these authors is that they are good at not confusing their readers – they could switch back and forth between the two time periods but we get the historical (Elizabeth’s story) first. Our authors remind the reader that in that long ago time period duty was everything. Feelings rea [...]

    16. I have avoided historical romances forever because I thought I wont be able to relate to the characterswhen I started to read Written in the Stars I was not sure what to expect and would I enjoy it?WellI loved it! This is a story that encompasses historical romance, mysticism & magic, love and adventure and assertive women for main characters! So we meet Cordelia who is a Marine Archaeologist seeking the sunken wreckage of the Celestine and the treasures it bestows. 17. I am not usually a big fan of books that bounce back and forth through time. This book did it in a way that was more palatable than most. This is a story of love across time. In 1601 Lady Elizabeth York writes her story in a journal that will end up in the hands of present-day marine archaeologist Cordelia Ward. Cordelia reads that Elizabeth has the same birthmark as she does. In her day it proclaimed her as a woman of magic. Present day Cordelia has a touch of telekinesis. Due to the jealousy a [...]

    18. The story takes place in two times: 1601 with Elizabeth, and present-day with Cordelia. The two authors of this book did a great job at keeping each of the storylines clearly different, while the connection between the two was well-explained and interesting.Modern Cordelia finds a diary from her ancestor, Elizabeth, which shares Elizabeth's life with her in modern times. In the past, Elizabeth lived a life of duty and service to her family, while Cordelia is focused on helping her family, but is [...]

    19. I loved this story very much. Always a fan of epic and tragic love stories (think Romeo & Juliet), this was my perfect cup of tea. What was even better was this book had historical and contemporary components (which were woven together flawlessly, in my opinion). Written in the Stars had magic and a compelling love triangle (both great bonuses in my book, when done right-and they were). I recommend this novel for lovers of suspense, magical realism and fate, and handsome swoon-worthy men.I r [...]
