    1. UPDATE, 11/04/2013:Voted (as a write-in) this book in the "Best in Humor" category for the 2013 GoodReads Choice Awards.1,001 People That Suck, by Kerri Kochanski, was designed to be a fun book with everything taken out of context. It contained a series of one-liners that poked fun at everyone: you/me, family members, friends, acquaintances, strangers and groups of people. My family and I took turns reading sections of this booklling out whatever person's name applied to the "people that suck" s [...]

    2. LOVED this book!!!!!!!!!! Have recommended it to many people. It made my husband and I laugh and talk about a few things we could add to the book! It's an OMG read.

    3. I feel like Kerri got bored one day and decided to just bullshit a book just to do so. The appeal of the book itself is not very satisfying. Each page contains about 3-4 sentences of people that suck, which is the purpose. The sentences were kind of bland, they didn't keep my interest. There are pictures, but they look like they were just pasted onto a word document and published that way. I'm a bit disappointed because I was really anticipating this when I won the copy. But looking on the sunny [...]

    4. This is my first time reviewing a book so I'm sorry if I miss anything. I'm the kind person who doesn't really like other people so this book was kind perfect for me. I had a great time reading it and so did my family whom I share the book with. We all laughed while agreeing to the statements the author made.If you're the kind of person who doesn't like other people this is the perfect book for you. The book also lets you see the fault in yourself that you may have not noticed before. Furthermor [...]

    5. This book showed up only as 4-point type, and I could only bump it up to 6-point type page by page. After nearly going blind, I gave up, although it's quite a funny book and I wish I could have finished it.

    6. I received a copy of this book from a First Reads giveaway. Thank you, and thank you, author Kerri Kochanski. This book wants to be a satyre on human condition, and for the most of it, it is utterly realistic. 1001 people that suck is perfect for a little moment of light breezy read, and it is full of insights. There will always be someone in your life/entourage whom you can easily associate with one of those 1001 statements, so touché my friend. The problem I had with it was that I didn’t fin [...]

    7. If you hate things or people that suck, this is the book for you. Everything that could possibly suck is listed in this fun book. Read it in one sitting, or pick it up periodically but either way you'll laugh, groan, and agree that many things suck. When you're done reading, go to her website and chat with others about what sucks. And honestly, I thought I was the only one who noticed that many things suck. Did I mention the book rhymes? Who doesn't love that??

    8. This book is hilarious! It really captures every scenario of people displaying "sucky" behavior. The more you read, the more you can relate to people you know (even yourself) that are guilty of it. The illustrations throughout the book make you smile too! A definite MUST READ! Kudos to the author, curious to see what she comes up with next! : )

    9. This is a light and fun book. Basically it's a giant list (1001 to be precise) of people that suck! The illustrations are simple and straight to the point.I was wondering how many people that suck I could come up with and it's harder than you may think to make a list this long.I received this book for free through First Reads

    10. Thank you to first reads and thnk you to Kerri Kochanaki for this book. I laughed out loud to this whole book. Totally relatable. I am definitely going to pick up more copies of this book and give them as Christmas gifts this year. This book definitely picked me up when I was feeling down. Thanks again!

    11. A very quick read, (it took me less than an hour), it pokes fun as all of us. I found there were people listed that I agreed with, people that I did not agree with, (some descriptions were a little vague), and some people who I realized were me. It is a book you will chuckle through, and one I think would be funnier if read with friends over some drinks.

    12. Clever, witty, and entertaining! Great for a chuckle or to realize your not the only one who thinks these people are the pits! An easy read that I highly recommend.

    13. I received a copy of this book from a First Reads giveaway. When I entered to win a copy of Kerri Kochanski's 1,001 People That Suck, I was under the mistaken impression that it would be fun, funny or at least written with proper grammar. Sadly, I was wrong. 1,001 People That Suck is a poorly written, ill-conceived and utterly pointless book. The book consists of a series of one-sentence couplets, some of which rhyme (?!), about people who suck. Unfortunately, the sentences are written in what [...]

    14. THANK YOU TO FIRSTREADS FOR A COPY OF THIS BOOK.I had no idea what to expect with this book from the start. It was unique. Every phrase starts out with "People that" or "people who" and it read very well - a lot like poetry. It was a quick read (and I regret taking so long to start it). It was fun, and makes you think about yourself and others. Are you this person that nobody likes?AM I?I loved the quotes that started each new section - I can see why they were chosen! Overall, I really liked th [...]

    15. I won the book in a Good Reads contest back in August (I think). Shortly after I became very busy, and I just got around to reading itANYWAYS, it was funny. Not one of the funniest books I've ever read, but definitely a good chuckle here and there. There were a few points that made me think because Wow, that person who sucks could be me. Other than that, it was funny.A good, quick read. It's literally just a list of PEOPLE WHO SUCK. Fairly accurate, and lots of little clip arts.

    16. I received this book for free through a First Reads Giveaway. This is a coffee table/bathroom book; just something light and fun. It is just a rhyming list of people that suck. The illustrations are cute, but I didn't think it was that funny. She breaks the list into themed categories, but a lot of the list was repetitive and either seemingly miscategorized or overly vague just so that they could keep the rhyming scheme.

    17. This is a cute and very funny book. I really think it is an ideal gift book. Kochanski covers all the people who do wrong in this world from those who "take, because they are greedy," to those who kill in war. I found a lot of people I know in this book -- people who ask personal questions, people who don't say "thank you" or hold the door. A quick read and fun to go back to, looking for those you know who are really rude and crude.

    18. I received this book for free through Giveaways. At the risk of being one of those "people that suck," I thought this book was mediocre, repetitive, and not especially funny. Additionally, there were grammar errors throughout the book. While the idea was a good one, the execution wasn't so great. I have a feeling this topic should have been left to a blog.

    19. Amazing!!!!! This is a must read book! Finally someone had the Guts to tell it like it is! We have all metsomeone who was described in this book, who we felt truly Sucked! Thanks to this brilliantly written book I can laugh out loud at these screwed up people that Suck!

    20. 3 stars only for the sheer effort the author has put in to find 1001 instances. This book has its own way of showing how people suck. You will enjoy the book as long as you don't realize that the book's points applies to yourself equally to that of others.

    21. I received a copy of this book from a First Reads giveaway.First I think the idea of this book really new and for that I gave it the three stars but it was more like a blog than to be in the form of a book and I didn't find it humor by all means !!

    22. Bathroom book for most but I read it all in one sitting. It's a quick read w/ funny, real, reasonable, intriguing and silly ways that people suck. I found myself asking if I or anyone I knew fit any of the bills! Enjoyable.

    23. This is book is funny and serious and amazing! I love it and I am so grateful I was chosen to receive this copy from a giveaway! If you want a book that is just real and amazing buy this book, but be careful you might find that some these are you!

    24. This book is composed of short sentences about people that suck. Sometimes six or seven sentences per page and sometimes just one.Its a funny book although is not going to make you laugh all aloud but it will bring a smile to your face.

    25. Funny, yet makes you think. I have adjusted some of my behavior thanks to this book! Highly recommend it to anybody who would like to curl up with a humorous book; laugh and think.
