    2. Despite the title, which promises three "contemporary" novels, the individual novels in this trilogy were originally published fifteen years ago. I would have found it extremely helpful if the date had been signalled at the beginning of each book, as it took me a good portion of the first book to work out that it wasn't set in the present day (2014-ish). The novels were actually set in the late 1990's--a fact I only worked out with a reference to the funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales (which I [...]

    3. There are three separate loosely related books in this trilogy. Expect new main characters in each book with cameo-type appearances from characters in previous books. All three books are written by Doris Elaine Fell. There are some common themes: adoptions, art, music, out-of-wedlock pregnancies, illness, and apparently the author thinks that every woman enjoys gardening. There are emphases on trusting God even when it is difficult, forgiveness, and reconciliation.1. "Blue Mist on the Danube" fo [...]

    4. Three complete novels are put together in this large book about love and drama. In the first story a violinist and a soldier meet and learn that their lives are inexplicably intertwined. The second story is about a woman who travels to England to uncover her past and learn about her future. The third story is of love lost and found in the English lake country.I had a really hard time getting into the book(s). The writing was well done and the plots were ones that would normally interest me. But t [...]

    5. MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOKThe Reconciled Hearts started out kind of slow for me, but as I kept reading, it started getting more interesting. But a lot of the reading in each story was difficult to read because of the tense emotions and the seriousness of the situations. I think they reason I kept reading and what kept my interest is the vivid and really wonderful descriptions of the setting in England. The author did a really good job of making the reader experience the sights and sounds of the er [...]

    6. The three novels contained in this one book are rather lengthy, you will get your money's worth for this purchase. The last book is my favorite, as it left me with a good feeling and was a little mysterious too. Book two was well written and I did tear up in a few places, overall it was a great book. The First book of the three was not my favorite, I was wondering if it would ever end. About half way through it turned into a book worth reading, however bring a box of tissues with you, you will n [...]
