    1. 2 Estoy tan jodidamente aburrido Stars Lara and Walker bore me. So much that I had more fun looking up "how to say I am so fucking bored" in Spanish than I did reading this.

    2. Reread (Aug 6, 2015)I adore Lara and Walker.Reread (Jul 17, 2014)Walker kills me with his intensity, his quietness, how private he is, and how he loves. I want a Walker of my own! I love Lara and Walker together, I may need to reread their parts in KoS.Originally read (Apr 1, 2013)This story is part of the Wild Invitation anthology. Lara and Walker also had a chance to have their own novella. I felt their story was told beautifully throughout KoS. I loved that we had them a secondary romance plo [...]

    5. So this story explains more about the new mating from Lara and Walker and how these two are living the everyday life. Lara is such a cute and protective wolf, that Walker didn't stood a chance. He has some scars from the past but is understandable and it means he's not that Silenced. I liked their follow up novella.

    7. Extremely enjoyable continuation to Lara and Walker's story. Lovely to see them settle into their mating bond and fight together for better understanding in their relationship.

    8. Despite being one of the main pairings in Kiss of Snow, we don't get a real in depth look at the emotional side of Walker and Lara's mating as the book focuses more on Hawke and Sienna. This short fills in that gap, following just after the mating is completed up through their mating celebration two weeks later. Of course they run into their first hurdle when Walker goes "Silent" essentially on auto pilot when one of the pup's goes down on his watch. They learn from the experience, but the initi [...]

    9. Oh, Walker! How I love the Lauren brothers! +.+Seriously, I was intrigued by Walker from the moment I first met him. I can't resist cold, apparently emotionless heroes, who, deep down, just want to love and be loved.I'm glad he found his other half. I can't imagine what it must be like to walk in shadows for 4 decades. Lara is a good woman as well, even though Tammy is much more charismatic. (GO DARKRIVER!!!)I hope they're both happy with Marlee, Toby and an entire brood of children. :D

    10. Finally Lara and Walker have a story even if it is short. We all knew it would happen. Over the course of the last several books we've seen this relationship growing and it seemed unlikely that Walker or Lara would walk away. What I loved about this story is that it isn't about them coming together as mates but what happens once they are mates and are coming together as a family.

    11. I love Lara. She is so down to earth and is neither a dominant or a submissive and can hold as much power as Hawke. In my mind, I picture Halle Berry with wild curls as Lara and maybe something like Matthew McConaughey. Fun read on how Walker experiences and does everything sexual with Lara for the first time.

    12. Lara and Walker deserves to be with each other, especially Walker who has so much love in him, even if he as a Psy had to pretend Silence.I love the conflicts between them as well - so real and heart-wrenching.

    13. It always seemed unfair that Lara and Walker only got a side-story in Kiss of Snow so it's nice to see they get their own short story.

    14. I really liked reading about Walker and Lara's beginning relationship in Kiss of Snow. This was a continuation of that. Wonderful!

    15. This was an interesting novella. Lara and Walker are a fascinating couple that I loved learning more about.

    16. I wonderful little story that delves more into the mating between Lara and Walker that we saw in Kiss of Snow.

    17. 4 stars. I adore these two. I almost wish they had gotten their own book instead of sharing screen time with Hawke and Sienna in Kiss of Snow, but this is pretty great too.

    18. I lOVE every word of this story and was happy while reading this book. I love rereading this series. I love the characters.

    19. 3 star, re-read*shrug*This certainly wasn’t the worst novella I’ve ever read. I think I enjoyed Lara and Walker’s side story in ‘Kiss of Snow’ more than this novella for exactly that reason: it was a side story. I liked the additional little tidbits of information about the Psy/Changeling world, I appreciated the struggles the happy couple face that I’m sure anyone could relate to in the average imperfect relationship; I thought it was a sweet story - but unremarkable. 20. Psy-Changeling #10.5Texture of Intimacy, Psy-Changeling #10.5, from "Wild Invitation" is the second of two never before published novellas included in this anthology. This one features Lara, the SnowDancer Healer and her very new mate Walker Lauren the T-Psy. I truly enjoyed this look into the inner workings of making an new mating work in and amongst the aftermath of the battle that took place at the end of “Kiss of Snow” Psy-Changeling #10. This novella literally starts where “Kiss of Sn [...]

    21. Though enjoyable I think this story was just more of a filler. Walker and Lara's story had really already been told in Kiss of Snow. The only thing that was new was the children were returning home from the safe places they were sent prior to the showdown with the Pure Psy and that some of them were having a hard time dealing with the what happened.Like I said, it was an enjoyable read but not really necessary to the series.

    22. 4.5 starsI read this as part of the wild invitation antholgoySnowDancer healer Lara discovers the searing joys—and unexpected challenges—of being mated to quiet, powerful Walker, a man used to keeping his silence. The only thing that I wish happened more in this story was that there was a bit more plot. The whole was a like little vignettes about Walker and Lara together, which was nice. But I really wanted a story with a solvable problem.

    23. I don't know why, but Walker seems to be my least favorite male character in the series. Maybe it's leftover animosity from Kiss Of Snow where I was so frustrated anytime I had to read Lara and Walker's story because I just wanted to see what was gong to happen with Hawke and Sienna next. But while I liked this addition to Walker and Lara, I didn't love it.

    24. Listened to audio narrated by Angela Dawe. If only we all had a mating bond so we could better attune to our partner Sigh. I like how strong Lara is, standing her ground while addressing her needs and her need to take care of Walker. Relationships take two working together and this was a great example

    26. Maybe I should have started with book one, but the authors website listed this one as a stand alone novella. The flow of the story was really discordant. I'll try reading the first book and see if it still throws me. It could just be the writing style.
