    1. “You don’t forget the end of the world.” It is amazing how this first statement gets to you. Certainly not when reading it at the beginning of the prologue. The importance and/or meaning becomes crystal clear as the story proceeds. This statement is equally impressive as “You were on the bus with me.” from Missing Time which has “Call me Ishmael.” quality.You need to have read Missing Time before starting Time Spent.     2. Clarke's second book in the 313 trilogy beautifully confuses only to explain all (well most anyway) when you least expect it. The super powered teens from bus 313 are drawn back together to confront their worst fears! The chapters are laid out like the first book with each chapter being about a separate character, and the story jumps around through time.
