    1. *I gave this audiobook a B+ for both the story and narration at AudioGals*Narrated by Jennifer O’DonnellFirst off, given that I generally only review romance, I think it worth noting that Julianne MacLean’s Color of Heaven series is really more women’s fiction than romance. All that said, there is definitely an element of romance sprinkled towards the end of this story for the romance enthusiast which also happens to go along perfectly with this novel’s main focus – familial love and t [...]

    2. Audiobook- available in the audible romance bundle Narration - Jennifer O’Donnell - really goodI gotta say, I spent some time lost while listening to this book, so it’s important that you pay attention to the character names in each section so you remember who they are when they return. This third book in The Color of Heaven series again recalls characters from previous books beginning with childhood and bringing them together as adults. A lot of strange coincidences and again with a few sce [...]

    3. Another good oneAgain on the edge of my seat as this story transpires. Twin sisters where one has everything and the other nothing. They are finally there for each other after the horrible experiences. Maybe love does win. Hopefully things will turn for Nadia in the next book.

    4. Book #3 in the Color of Heaven series, went into the life story of a minor character introduced at the end of Book #2. I actually liked this book the best so far. The author tells the stories from the point of view of several of the characters. The events are realistic and deal with life and death and family, not the typical romance novel.

    5. This was my favorite Color of book yet. It's about twin sisters that don't know each other exist. One is from a wealthy family and one is not. They meet, the get to know each other, betrayal follows and then separation. Will one sister be able to forgive the other when more than just feelings are at stake? Read and see.Love it, wonderful story.

    6. Third book I've read of hers and it was very good. Mixture of emotions for several characters. Can't wait to read the next one!

    7. Even when life seems hopeless, especially then, it may take a sudden turn for the better. This book makes you believe that.

    8. This is a real-life story testing your own moral beliefs. Identical twin sisters struggle with conflicting emotions, which finally tear them apart, but their souls searching for the right path find it, leaving only love and hope.About the Story: This is a story about Diana Moore, seemingly living a charmed life. It is also about her twin, Nadia Carmichael, who has had the worse of possible fortune. They were parted at birth when their birth mother died, neither knew the existence of the other. D [...]

    9. As Good As "The Color of Heaven"I was skeptical about reading the third book in this series, because although I really enjoyed The Color of Heaven, I was disappointed with the Color of Destiny, book 2 in the series. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one was as good, if not a little better than the first so I'm glad I risked it. These books are all loosely related, although you could read them in any order or as stand alone's and they would make sense, they don't need to be read co [...]

    10. 3.5 stars. Diana and Nadia are two very different women. They come from very different backgrounds. Diana grew up in a very well off family and never wanted for anything. Nadia had a hard scrabble childhood. She had to follow her mother all over since she couldn't really hold down a good life for them. She witnessed things that no child should ever have to witness. Slowly both of them discover that they may have more in common then they first realized. This book is filled with family secrets and [...]

    14. Engaging!!!! I obtained a copy of The color of Hope via a giveaway. This was the first Julianne MacLean novel I have read, and she simply charmed me with her characters and their stories. This novel has so much to love. The chapters are short and all the writing is very concise. For this reason, the novel just clips along and kept me engaged. Also, the concept of twins who were separated at birth and adopted by different families explores how much of a crap shoot our lives really are.I have reco [...]

    15. Another amazing read in MacLean's series!I love how the characters go from 1st person to 3rd during chapter changes. The characters speak to the reader telling their life stories and secrets as if it's a true story and written especially for you -- the reader! The twists and turns are never as one would expectways a surprise you don't see coming! While reading, I'd find myself constantly trying to guess what would happen next.which in turn never made me want to put the book down. I have really e [...]

    16. A book that will keep you up reading. The Paragraph at end says so much. "Please do not forget that even when life seems hopeless especially then. Because you never know when it might take a sudden turn for the better."In the past year twice I've sat at my husband's bedside as his heart raced. I came so close to losing him. So every moment is precious. This book offers hope.Diana Moore and Naida are twins separated at birth. Neither knew the other existed until they were thrown into each others [...]

    17. This book was my daily commute read and I kept wishing the bus ride would last longer because I wanted to know what happened next! I have read the first two book in the series and enjoyed them as well, but I think this was my favorite so far. Ms. MacLean has a way of pulling you right into the story and holding you there until the last word is read. The Color of Hope was an emotional journey of hope and forgiveness with plenty of the twists and turns life can throw at you keeping you riveted. Th [...]

    18. This is the story of Diana and Nadia.Diana is the adopted daughter of a Senator. Nadia is the adopted daughter of a divorced maid. After several people tell Diana that they have seen her in more than one place at the same time she sends someone to investigate and finds out that it appears she has a twin! Can you imagine, thinking you are all alone in the world with no blood relatives and then you not only find out you have a sister but one that looks exactly like you. What comes next is a story of [...]

Pas pokoknya, penasaran baca kisah lanjutannya, akankah Nadia menemukan kebahagiaannya seperti yg ditemukan Diana? Let's see.

    20. AMAZING READ!!Julianne MacLean does it again with book #3! I just love her writing style and the way her books get you from the first page. She is a very gifted storyteller and I am so ready to begin reading book #4, which I just happen to have. This book will require tissues! I absolutely recommend that you read this series! They are all outstanding! READ THIS BOOK PLEASE! Awesome characters that you will fall in love with. AMAZING!!!!!

    21. The Color of Hope is book #3 in this series. While I am thoroughly enjoying this series, I may give this book a 4.75. This is a story of identical twins who are separated at birth and grew up living very different lives. It is a story of hope and endurance. I can hardly put these books down and would highly recommend to others.

    22. I won this book in a Firtsread giveaway and I'm so glad I did! It's the story of twin sisters seperated at birth and the very different lives they led until their meeting in their late 20's. The story covers betrayal and hope and leaves you wanting more! I look forward to reading the next book in this series!

    23. Julianne MacLean takes us on another journey with two people whose lives are destined to cross. Another beautiful story in the series that shows us the different paths our lives can take, how our pasts can shape our futures, and what we can do to remain authentic to our true selves. There is reality here, pain, loss and struggle. But in the end, no matter what, there is also hope.

    24. What would you do if all of a sudden you found out you were a twin? One of you was adopted right away and had a loving family and all the privileges you'd ever want. The other one was adopted about 4 years later because of a heart defect and her adopted father was abusive and left them, and her adopted mother was so poor they had to live in their car for a while. This is a good read!

    25. I read all three books in this series and enjoyed them all. I am looking forward to the the next one to be released. The books can be read independently, but the plot develops sequentially. The characters are so real that you want to keep reading to find out how they work through the tragedies that have befallen them.

    26. Heartwarming and filled with beautiful emotions!I am not really a fan of contemporary, but I love Ms. MacLean's historical romances! Again, I really enjoyed her third book THE COLOR OF HOPE, part of Color of Heaven series. She nicely blended her characters into this charming romance! It’s well written and a heartwarming story filled with beautiful emotions. I recommend it!

    27. Julianne is a writer that satisfies the reader with every book she writes. 5 star, thumbs up she just rocks you every time and this book was nothing different. Romance, mystery, tears it has it all just so good.
