I really enjoyed this novel!The characters were wonderfully written and developed, and the plot itself was dark, compact and enthralling, with a great twist at the end.There was also real dark humour laced throughout, with genuine laugh out loud moments, that made this a real page-turner and a pleasure to read.I hope that Matt Bendoris will continue to release novels of this calibre, and I would be genuinely happy to meet the characters again in another story

    2. Absolutely loved this book. It's a rollicking great read, with satisfyingly rounded characters, especially heroine April Lavender, and more twists than a bowl of spiral pasta. Read it and savour.

    3. I think the blurb really drew me in to reading this book, and having a local setting to me (set in Glasgow) I thought i'd give it a go. I really don't think this book lived up to it's potential. It is a very short book, with very short chapters, and I just feel it would have benefitted with being a lot longer and more drawn out. For a book about a perfectionist serial killer there is not a lot of serial killing going on! That being said, it has some good characterisation and it held my attention [...]
