    1. 5 Stars! I ADORED this book - and series!I am so sorry my time with the Taylor siblings has come to an end. Each of these books rated 5 stars with me. This last book, Lethal Legacy is about the middle Taylor sibling, Cole. Cole has been a present in each of his siblings’ stories and in this book we will finally see him find the woman he is meant to spend the rest of his life with and find out why he lost his faith.Kelly’s father committed suicide; well that is at least what the police depart [...]

    2. Great conclusion to the series! This was my favorite of the three romantic suspense novels in the Guardians of Justice Series. While the romance was good, it was the story line that grabbed my attention. I like the cold case stories. What also added to the novel was the character development of the villains.I recommend Lethal Legacy and the entire series to readers of romantic suspense.

    3. I just love the way the Taylor family interacts and are there for each other and the people the Taylor clan cares about. The plot of Kelly's father's suicide and Kelly believing that it was murder and searching for answers was delivered well. The suspense was good. The most suspenseful part for me was at the 80% mark, but the perpetrator was revealed early on and his plans with Kelly was a bit predictable. I also suspected who the killer was before it was revealed. Some of the things the killer d [...]

    4. This series did not impress me at all. It's sad, but I find Irene Hannon to be a pretty unoriginal writer. All three books in this series have included characters that to me sound like the same character. The only difference was that the heroines are slightly different. Anyways, the girl gets kidnapped for every climax, the romances are the same, and the guy ends up being saved becuase the girl he likes witnessed to him. Now I would be okay with all of these things if they were in one book, but [...]

    5. I really enjoyed this book and plan to go back and read the others in this series. I'm amazed at how much attention to detail the authors I read these days provide. I certainly appreciate the research. I really enjoy the romance and mystery in this book. Blessings.

    6. To be posted on my blog 8/9: christianbookshelfreviewsMy review on - if it is helpful, please click "Yes" on : amazon/review/R2XFF82NLethal Legacy, the third and last book in Irene Hannon's Guardian of Justice series, is probably my least favorite in the series. While I did really enjoy it, I loved the first two.I loved the characters and found the story interesting, it is just that, at times, I found the suspense lacking (probably because the killer is known early on) and that is really the on [...]

    7. First posted on my blog, Legacy of a Writer.Irene Hannon brings her Guardians of Justice series to a romantic and suspenseful ending with Lethal Legacy. Each one of the books in the series has been awesome—though, personally, Deadly Pursuit tops them all for me! All of the books I’ve read by Hannon have an intense, pulse-pounding and thrilling adventure that is sure to make stay awake late into the night! From the previous books featuring Jake and Allison, I’d already gotten to know their b [...]

    8. SUMMARY: A determined daughter . . .A skeptical detective . . .A deadly secret . . .The police say her father's death was suicide. Kelly Warren says it was murder--and she has new evidence to prove it. Detective Cole Taylor doesn't put much credence in her claim, and nothing in his case review suggests foul play. But when he digs deeper (delete dash) and discovers startling information linking her to a long-buried secret, the danger escalates. Is history repeating itself? And who wants Kelly sil [...]

    9. Irene Hannon is amazing. She is quickly becoming my favorite Christian Romantic Suspense author, and the latest book about the Taylor siblings only adds to the reasons why. When Kelly's father commits suicide, she can't believe it, especially when she receives a birthday gift he bought for her the day before he died. Determined to make the police open up the case, she finds Cole and begs him to look into it. All evidence points to a suicide until Kelly is attacked. Now the two have to work togeth [...]

    10. I have enjoyed the twists and turn of this book. You never know when being in the right place at the right time is all that is needed to get things done. Kelly and Cole's story has excitement in every page of this story.

    11. This book caught my interest right away, Kelly’s father’s died and it was determined to be a suicide by the police investigator. His daughter Kelly wasn’t buying the story and was more determine to search for more evidence when she received a flower gift from her father where he said they would enjoy planting them together. She went to talk with the detective who investigated his death, good thing he wasn’t available and another person Cole Taylor is asked to talk with her. Although he w [...]

    12. Kelly Warren is determined to prove that her father did not commit suicide but was murdered. She shows Detective Cole Taylor a receipt for tulip bulbs with a note from her father indicating he would be there to help her plant the bulbs. It was dated the day before his supposedly suicide. This seems strange to Cole too but not enough evidence to reopen the case. When Kelly searches her father’s house, she finds a wedding photo of her parents but the names on the back of the photo are not those [...]

    13. Spoilers: so this book falls in line with the others of the series handsome law enforcement office saves a woman who is in danger and the ending is predictable. The storytelling is decent, but seriously when a proposal was the exact ending for all 3 books, I wanted to roll my eyes. Ok, maybe I did.

    14. Really great book by a great Christian author. A suspenseful mystery mixed with romance. Very easy to read, characters to love, plot to draw you in and a romance to root for! Third in the Guardians of Justice series but can be read out of order. If you enjoy mysteries and want a clean story to read with a Christian base to it, Irene Hannon books are a great place to start.

    15. Page turnerThe story is intriguing, the characters likable. Consequences are in place for the bad guys just as we want in the real world. Faith is discussed, lapses examined, but not preachy or sickeningly “holy” by the characters. Good read.

    16. This was a great book. The characters are well developed and have great interaction. It has some suspense with enough resolve in the end.Good and Clean.

    17. Another winner! I was pulled into the story from the beginning. The twists and turns kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed Cole and Kelly's story.

    18. Deceived is the third and final book in the Private Justice series. It was a really interesting ending to the series.Connor Sullivan was a former Secret Service agent assigned to the Vice President. He retired from the agency after his last disastrous relationship. It failed because he was always gone and never put the time and effort into the relationship. Kate Marshall, widow, has seen a ghost. Her son, presumed dead from a boating accident three years ago, was seen on an escalator at the loca [...]

    19. I feel bad giving this book only two stars but I really just was not wowed by it. I had such high hopes for Cole's story but it just didn't live up to my expectations.Cole stumbles across a woman named Kelly, who shows up at the police station with more evidence that her dad's death a little while ago could not have been a suicide. The detective who ran the case was on vacation so Cole's captain asked him to deal with it. Kelly is a very head strong woman who would not accept the fact that her d [...]

    20. Kelly Warren’s father, John Warren, died five months ago, and it was ruled a suicide by sleeping pills and alcohol overdose. Kelly was never able to accept that ruling. What she received in the mail was the proof that she was right. She wanted to approach Detective Alan Carlson with her new evidence, but he was on vacation.Detective Cole Taylor was thus assigned to Carlson’s case. He’s attracted to Kelly’s wavy, russet-colored hair, emerald green eyes, but gets caught looking at her when [...]

    22. Irene Hannon has scored another winner in the Guardians of Justice series with Lethal Legacy. But don't let the fact that this book is number three in this series scare you away from reading it if you haven't read any of the other books. It makes a great stand-alone with mentions of characters and their happily ever afters from the previous books, but no real spoilers to keep you from going back and reading them. Lethal Legacy can easily stand on it's own, but it is a part of a great romantic su [...]

    24. Cole Taylor is the middle sibling of three adult children of a former street cop who has since died of a heart attack. The Taylor clan loved their father very much and followed his lead into justice-related careers: a deputy marshal (Jake), a Family & Children's services caseworker (Alison), and a St. Louis detective (Cole). The two previous books in the series focus on Jake and Alison and their significant others (Liz and Mitch, respectively). Mitch is also a fellow detective with Cole. The [...]

    26. I found the first two books in this series (Deadly Pursuit and Fatal Judgement) disappointing, as the plots closely resembled those of the first two books in her previous Heroes of Quantico series (it kind if spoils the suspense when an author uses the exact same scenario to locate the kidnap victim in two books). Having said that, friends who have also read both series didn't notice the similarities and loved them all.Don't get me wrong: Irene Hannon can write excellent romantic suspense. But s [...]

    27. Who would have thought that a Christian suspense novel could have elements of The Godfather movies, Castle TV series, and a James Patterson book all while exploring faith and spiritual relationships? I think that Irene Hannon is the only author with the talent to pull it off. Lethal Legacy, the final book in the Guardians of Justice trilogy brings so much stuff that I love about great fiction (TV too!) and puts them all together to make a story that was very difficult for me to put down. From the [...]

    28. Lovers of suspense: for those of you who haven’t read Hannon’s novel Lethal Legacy, you have missed out on a very interesting and enjoyable read!!! The police say her father’s death was a suicide. But Kelly Warren says it was murder- and she has new evidence to prove it. Detective Cole Taylor doesn’t put much stock in her claim, since nothing in his case review suggests foul play. But when Kelly ends up in the emergency room with a suspicious life-threatening medical condition, Cole deci [...]
