    1. Tea Party Teddy's Legacy by Dianne Harman neatly and very unexpectedly wraps up the story of the political fall out left by Teddy Randall's defeat. Dianne has as usual created another political masterpiece full of dirty tricks and backstabbing tactics that made this reader wonder why elect politicians in the first place. Our hero from Tea Party Teddy, Bob Silva, who is now married to the ex-wife of Tea Party Teddy, Nina, decides to run for the California State Assembly against the Reverend Jim Th [...]

    2. "Tea Party Teddy's Legacy" by Dianne Harman is a great political thriller about the election campaign for the California State Assembly. Bob Silva, hero of the first book, Tea Party Teddy, runs against far right-wing Reverend Jim Thurston. Silva’s wife used to be married to Tea Party Teddy and is now heavily pregnant. Harman sets up the rivals brilliantly within a short space of time and with excellent eye for details, background and characterisation. When Silva retreats from the election camp [...]

    3. Review of Tea Party Teddy’s LegacyNow anyone who read any of my reviews know I try to write about imagery and how well a story flows and this story has it in spades and I was drawn back into Teddy's world smoothly, but this time I want to mention one character Slade a gum-shoe P.I. Set in the modern times. This character should be in the top lists of gum-shoe P.I.s in my opinion, over all a great work and a must read. Kudos to Dianne Harman on a very fine work.Dab10

    4. WOW! Talk About A Page Turner!!It’s election time in the California legislature and the two opposing Republican candidates, Bob Silva and Reverend Jim Thurston, are as different as night and day. Bob Silva, a decent family man descended from immigrant parents; Rev. Jim, or Dear Reverend as he is frequently referred to, a shockingly vicious, Machiavellian ex-con, hungry for power no matter the cost. In her hallmark way, Dianne Harman’s characters are so well described, you are instantly invol [...]

    5. No, The Child Molesting, Wife-Beating, Poltical Corrupt, Religious Bigot, The Dear Reverend Jim Thurston is not the Protagonist!Ms Harman successfully exploits the method of using the antagonist as a central character to drive the story in this book. I was particularly impressed with this style in Tea Party Teddy and sought out to purchase The Teddy Saga in my curiosity to see if she would manage to invoke as much excitement as she did in the first one. Truly enough, she does not disappoint. The [...]

    6. Same review as FIRST Tea Party TeddyIt must be the season of preliminaries, watching speaches and going to meetingsAt least for meI have thought "the system" is broken for the reasons Dianne made in the storyThis story must have some "personal experience" basis in her life, it's just too much like my imagined reality than possible The "under belly" of the political system is discouraging Even if junior electives get to state or national capitals they are NOT part of "the good old boy" network th [...]

    7. Kindle Copy from AuthorThe story continues as we find Bob Silva who is now married to ex-wife of Tea Party Teddy Nina and he is now running for the same seat. Nina is expecting twin daughters and is put on bed rest two weeks before the end of the campaign. Bob decides his wife is more important as he put his campaign appearances on hold. His opponent is Reverend Jim Thurston who was once a friend of Teddy and is a member of the Tea Party. The Reverend Thurston life isn’t stellar as he was found [...]

    8. The Tea Party is at it again. This time is a reverend who's determine to get that seat at the State Capital and nothing going to stop him. This was a quick, easy read, but it was full of things that made your heart skip a beat. I really enjoyed the antics of the tea party folks and felt the anguish of those that were subject to it. The Silva's are back, a happy close knit family, ready to add two new additions. There's less politics in this one than in its predecessor, but it still rears its ugly [...]

    9. In this follow-up sequel to Teddy Tea Party, Dianne Harman does not disappoint when it comes to scandal. No one is innocent, no one is clean, not even Reverend Jim Thurston, a Tea Party member who's running for the seat in California. Constituents would expect more more from a holy man in Jim. However, he has sick criminal motives in mind and plots and schemes to get what he wants. The rival between Jim and Teddy like two men going at it in a game of checkers, except only one person can earn the [...]

    10. I've received this book for free through First Reads. First of all, thanks, that was a great way to discover a new author. Since I've read both parts of the saga, I can say that this short novel can be read separately. I must confess, I liked the sequel much more than the "Tea Party Teddy" itself. Maybe because it's shorter, maybe because there's a little bit more action. Even though one of the main characters - Bob Silva - is irritatingly perfect and his antagonist - the Reverend - is unbeliev [...]

    11. The author seems to have hit upon a a winning combination of good writing, politics, religion, sex and a little suspense. This is a charming and entertaining read. The reader should not expect much by way of plot or character development. Indeed there are cliches and caricatures to be found, a wife-beating hypocritical minister, a minority candidate with lovable step-sons whose wife is expecting twins, etc. Do not expect talking head analyses of the politics, policies or campaign tactics. Go with [...]

    12. Dirty PoliticsThe Reverend Jim Thurston is running for the California State Assembly. He's a Republican who supports the National Rifle Association and reducing taxes. His supporters don't know about his secret proclivities and his sickening hypocrisy.Bob Silva is Reverend Jim's opponent. Bob was outed for adultery, and the husband in the case had committed suicide. Party Teddy's Legacy, by Dianne Harman, is politics at its dirtiest. Ms. Harman brings her insider view to this short political wor [...]

    13. Not rating because it was too different from what I usually read.I wondered for a while as I read the first book if it were a spoof. This sequel is way over the top, but in the lesser ways the way I imagine some religious leaders could act, like with the domestic abuse and the abuse of minors. After all, there are reveals of such every so often.

    14. this was a good read, but a litle predictable for me. it shows the corruption in politics and religion when Reverend Jim Thurston is in a political race with Bob Silva. The reverend will stop at nothing to make his opponent look bad and then after the election the dirty deeds continue.
