    1. Very good and much needed in the Church today. In short, Bennett argues that the idea of a “sense of call” to this or that is entirely unbiblical, that such language is cliche or jargon that has crept into Christian vernacular over the past few hundred years. He even illustrates from Hudson Taylor’s own writings how he too fell erroneously into using the language.     2. This is a great book. I wish the title were 'Do you Not feel called by God?' or 'Is it important to feel called by God?', because it answers those questions quite well also. The concepts in here are vital for all church members, not only those in or considering vocational ministry.

    3. This book needs to exist. It has a very important point, namely that "feeling called" to a particular task or ministry is a cultural way of talking, not a biblical concept in itself.
