    1. Rating 3.5SPOILER:(view spoiler)[ The book deals with date-rape and the fact that if a woman says no at any point, man has to accept that and if he doesn't it constitutes rape (hide spoiler)]I've wanted to read this book for a long time, mainly since it is kind of controversial and different.Mitch Scanlon didn't have a good start in life but after he was rescued from the streets his life was good, he went pro playing football but then he lost the use of his legs, he is lying in the hospital bed [...]

    2. AWFULLY awkward.Obviously BOTH adolescents are NOT READY to make responsible sex.She wanted him badly, willingly forgot her mother's teachings on purity and modesty and responsible sex, she consented to lie down with him, let him drew off her clothes, foreplay her, she went wild in passion, "unable to speak, stared up at him, her heart racing and her body screaming for his", BUT, she panicked right at the instant he was entering her. Really? At this point, he was crazy for her and couldn't wait m [...]

    3. Title should be "Date-rape. It ain't that bad"Epic Fail Can't imagine a mother cheering for someone who's raped her child in a football match.Burn mofo. BURN!!!!

    4. This was the third of three loosely connected stories. This one is about Carly, once a victim of date rape, and Mitch, a former NFL quarterback, now paraplegic college coach. 18 years ago Carly gave a false name and was date raped by a very drunk Mitch who didn't even know she said "no." Meeting again, Carly doesn't tell him until after they've started a relationship and made love. She also finally tells him he is the father of her 18-year-old daughter. Carly is a dang mess in more ways than one [...]

    5. I kind of hate giving it a 4/4.5 star rating just on principle. The female MC was basically date raped and then many years later the characters meet again and eventually fall in love. Rape = Bad. Period. BUT I still really liked this book. Both MCs are likable and struggle individually before coming together. The hero's injury was handled well. I mean, he really must be something for me to be able to forget his earlier actions and grow to love him as the MC does. Not every author could pull this [...]

    6. It would be better if you read Paroled! then Once upon a Wedding (Romantic Traditions) then Her Secret, His Child and in the end read Perfect Hero (Whose Child?).

    7. Big spoiler aheadIt was a good story, I liked the premise and the hero redeemed himself in my opinion. However, having exactly the same thing happening to the heroine's daughter ruined it for me. Especially because Tracy's boyfried got away with nothing but a slap in the back. Tracy's rape was just so unnecessary! It was five stars to me up to that point. Also, I think it was absurd that they decide never to tell Tracy that the hero is her father.

    8. I did enjoy this book though I felt like I shouldn't. Basically the MC raped the female MC and it didn't sit right that this be the framework for basing a love story. Other than that I loved the characters, though they didn't spend much of the book actually together. I really loved the male MC Mitch and his confidence but yet undercurrent of vulnerability.

    9. read in 2011.The novels description is what grabbed me and I was excited to read it. However I found the hero to be, well kind of disgusting. He was such a man whore and it drove me insane learning about his exploits. I felt very sorry for the heroine and what she had went through. I know this sounds horrible but when he lost the use of his legs, right away I thought "karma"

    10. The fact she didn't tell her daughter bout her father even after he showed up screamed selfish is what I thought, but honestly who's to say whats right!!!
