    1. 4.5/5 stars. I loved this book. It was slow at certain parts but the last hundred pages had me reading till the end of the book. The ending felt satisfying, all the loose ends were tied up neatly. I liked how rocky the marriage between Cameron and Jackson was. How, just because they were married, that doesn't mean that everything is all rainbows and sunshine, how there always could be a storm on the horizon. The verbal fights felt real and could happen in real life (Jackson's cheating (?), the m [...]

    2. great story about the old south. This book has everything in it love, spies and action.I just love this author.

    5. Even though the overall rating is less than stellar, this was the first romance book I ever read and I loved it! I have since been sucked into the wonderful world of historical romance and will never look back.

    6. I loved this book especially the characters. Its so obvious they're in love yet they can never manage to agree on anything or even get along at time and it leads to some problems that make for an interesting story. A must read for any romance lover.

    7. One of the better historical romance books I have read. More of a dysfunctional marriage type of book, but has some steamy romance. I did like the character interaction, they very much liked to fight and then make up. The near ending was a bit to sappy for me but all in all I enjoyed it.
