    1. Again, I have left it too long after finishing this book and reviewing. I need more hours in the day! Anyway, I do remember enjoying this one. I picked it up on the library shelf on a whim - I like missing persons stories, so that's what drew me in. The plot was engaging (although sometimes a little unbelievable - but that's ok).

    2. Thoroughly enjoyed this book which had me hooked from the start with it's good storyline & credible likeable characters. I'd never read (or even heard of!) this author before but plan to read more. I hope there will be more in this series to follow as personally I'd like to see Megan Ward make a come-back - I think her & Foster could make an amusing team.

    3. This would have gotten more stars if not for the pointless and dropped storylines. What was up with the car crash Simon was going on about? Why is there still an amnesiac-brother storyline at all? The missing-and-now-returned brother story didn't really go anywhere in book one, other than to prod Jeff's memories, so I figured it would serve a purpose in book two. I was mistaken.

    4. Court Clerk Sara Geddes has a lodger and reporter friend Megan Ward and the appearance of a huge mysterious man watching their home starts a train of events that will lead to murder and a police hunt that seems impossible. The cloud of doom that hangs over the secret world crime is so palpable the reader is drawn into the mystery and the terror. This is a book not to be missed by any lover of the thriller genre, I can't recommend it enough.

    5. I didn't finish it. The prolonging plot ended up with boredom. Maybe I hate Internet Hacks and stuff but I got to admit that the writing is fine. It is just that the story itself might be too techy for some.Margaret Murphy, please cut to the chase and don't stretch it
