    1. Sara's Past is book 2 in the Sara Winthrop series. I really liked the first book Sara's Game but thought that perhaps number 2 wouldn't quite live up to the first book and be able to hold the same suspense and thrilling action. I was glad to be proved wrong! Sara's Past was just as thrilling as Sara's Game and brought a whole array of new villains into play. Even characters such as Teddy Rutherford were made to be liked in this second installment! No kidnappers this time but the story was still [...]

    2. OK but not as enjoyable as book one. I can't pinpoint why but think it is because there was not as much character building in this book and I found myself a bit ambivalent about outcomes. Having said that, I probably will read book three. Although this could be read as a stand alone, I was glad I'd read book 1 first.

    3. Eighteen months after Saras terrifying encounter with a demented kidnapper, life has finally returned to normal. Almost. Her memories of the game still haunt her dreams, and every day society appears to go a little bit crazier. Terrorist attacks are on television all the time, it seems, and ordinary people people just like her are dying. All she wants is to live a safe, quiet life with her children. On a damp fall morning, however, Sara receives news that's both chilling and unthinkable, plungin [...]

    4. Be Careful of Who You Piss offI have to say I enjoyed the second installment to The Sara Winthrop Thriller Series. Some of us in life have done or witnessed something that we were not proud of. We try to forget. Some are successful, some are not. In this case, Sara had wished that humiliating event was prevented. I like the fighter in Sara. After her treacherous ordeals I'm surprised she's still sane. I can't wait to read the third installment.

    5. Not NEARLY as exciting as Sara's Game but still a decent follow up. Ernie Lindsey has a skill for pushing the story at a fast pace, almost playing it out like a movie in my head. He manages to take characters who were not so likable in the last book and make them decent in this one. He revisits all characters from the past while still building all new villians. The plot is a little weak for me, but I still enjoyed it and will eventually read the next and last in the Sara Trilogy.

    6. The first book in this series, SARA'S GAME, I termed "Super-Incredible." That one took me one evening and the next afternoon to read. I reviewed it and opened SARA'S PAST: 3 and a half hours was all it took, to race at the speed of light. Author Ernie Lindsey has the most incredible, unlimited, imagination, and really, he deserves a wide audience. Readers of thrillers, suspense, and mystery owe it to themselves to.discover this author, and soon!

    7. Well if my review of Sara's Game was a bit skewed because of all the Portland references well move over, because this one is really, really gonna be biased. I've just retired from Powell's Books after working there for 30 years! OMG, there was so many good Portland and Powell's snippets that I even listed a few of them as I read this book You can view them in my reading progress, and believe me I used restraint. I loved this book! Ernie Lindsey you've won my heart.

    8. Sara's PastThe second in a three part series. I read the first book on accident and fell in love with Sara. She is an unwilling but tough hero due to circumstances, beyond her control. I finished it in two days and immediately went to find the 2nd in the series. I can't wait to read the next installment.

    9. A good follow-up to the previous "Sara's Game". I am a little disappointed the book ended as a cliff ha get to the next. However it was a complete story, not a total loser. Action packed from the beginning to end. Perhaps Sara is a little like Jessica Fletcher, in that everyone around her is a problem, or in this case bat-sh** crazy.

    10. Another excellent book by Ernie Lindsey, 2nd in the Sara Winthrop series. This books sees development of Teddy's character and him grow in maturity. Sarah seems to get all the bad luck and this book is no different unusually for thrillers the perps in this series are usually female which makes them all the more interesting. Already downloaded book 3

    11. Sara's second adventure was nearly as exciting as the first, and perhaps even a bit more explosive! Love the characters, the descriptions of locations, settings, people I cannot put a Sara book down for long because I want desperately to know what will happen. These are wonderful reads for any vacation where the plan is to relax and get lost in a good book. Thank you, Ernie Lindsey!

    12. Sara's past is book 2 in the series.Sara's past is just as good as Sara's game except you get a whole new array of Villians .No kidnapper's but the story is still gripping with a clan of anti gaming terrorists operating in Sara's home town of Portland. I look forward to reading Sara's fear to see how it will all end.

    13. I liked the first book better, but this held my attention. I've had a hard time finding books that kept me reading recently. Not the best book I've ever read, by far, but interesting continuation of Sara Winthrop's story!

    14. I am enjoying these books. Mr Lindsey has a way in his writing of keeping your interest. I know that the different story plots/scenarios in the book aren't realistic, but that's why I read. This book is a continuation of the first book.

    15. Read this in about 2 days. It was intriguing and I would recommend it if you enjoyed Sara's Game. I will now finish the series with Sara's Fear!

    16. Was ok, not a patch on the first one, leaving me to wonder if I want to read the third and final Sara book

    17. I enjoyed book 2, Sara's Past, BUT I feel that book 1, Sara's Game, was better. Book 2 took a long time to build up to the explosive ending. All in all, I'm looking forward to reading book 3.

    18. Excellent seriesLove the Sara Winthrop series. Have downloaded them on my Kindlequite suspenseful and well written. Getting ready to start book 3 after just finishing book 2

    19. I know it's a trilogy, but the second book is a dead ringer for the first: same victim, same protagonist, same antagonist reasons.

    20. This is the 2nd book of the Sara series. This one started off a little bit slow but got intense real fast!As in the first book, I couldnt put it down. Recommended reading!!!
