    1. I was very much looking forward to reading this story as I had loved The Sundered Lands Saga books by the same author. 2. I give this book a solid 4.5 stars. The story is complex and interesting, taking you through a fantastical world step-by-step and gradually introducing you to the rules of magic in their world. The characters are so realey're strong and flawed and just amazing. And oh my gosh, the DRAGONS! I'm a sucker for dragons, and Lexy Wolfe's dragons are absolutely to die for. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great epic fantasy read.
