    1. Story of young girl who is now teaching music in her former ladies' seminary. She is sent for by her dying father.     2. This really was a poor effort. I always keep hoping to find a new and good Regency novelist, but it never seems to happen. This one was really bad though. It was SO overloaded with heyer like slang, but the writer kept throwing in modern expressions and slang as well plus mixing up upper and lower class slang when she put in the Regency stuff. After a skim read, have now given up and giving it away. Life's too short

    3. This book was hard to understand and you never really get attached to the characters. The dramatic plot line was kind of dragged on and there really weren't any surprises or plot twists. It was pretty boring but I guess it's a nice short read if you are just looking for time to kill
