    1. With a title like, Deep Penetration, how could I not have High Expectations? But I could not finish this book. DNF at 20%I tried…I really didI gave it my best…But my best just wasn't good enough…You gotta know when to say when…I never imagined Deep Penetration could be so disappointing ;o(

    2. I kinda should have known that if I read a book with 'Penetration' in the title, the chances were high that I would get screwed. Yup, that bugger there is totally how it happened – and I only have myself to blame. This work was a work balls deep in BDSM, and not in a good way. Now, I don't mind some slap and tickle but the whole grovelling is not my thing. There are different layers of dominant men but once you have women who are completely into naughty punishment, things have the tendency to g [...]

    3. I've been singing the praises of Kaitlyn O'Connor and this is the first lemon in the series of books I have read. In order to prepare Emerald for her life on their planet, they have to make her completely docile "for her own good". She can't hesitate when they tell her to do something, she can't disagree with anything, she can't show that something hurts her. So they put this belt on her that doesn't let her climax and then spend hours and hours and days and days punishing her. I hated it. I hat [...]

    4. Do Not Waste Your TimeI wish I could give a negative star rating. The first two chapters are sooo misleading. A woman wakes up with no memory, doesn't know where she is or how long she has been there,Ok, sounds interesting enough. One of the main characters, Emerald, goes from being an amnesic -to- a slave -to- being a free person -to- being a breeder. WTH?Over half of the story Emerald is being tormented / teased with an electronic device for hours(not minutes but HOURS)a day without ANY release. [...]

    5. It was okay, but definitely not my favorite. Not completely horrible but the author chose to spend a lot of time setting the same scene over and over and over to the point where I wanted to yell "Okay! I get it! Now let's move on please!" Also, the men were supposedly friends for over half their long lives and acted like they were complete strangers, and glared/fumed/sulked/fought over Emerald, when they have shared women in the past. Nope, not buying it. I've enjoyed other books by this author [...]

    6. 2.5 starsThis was more than a little difficult to read at times downright cruelty. Nice that there was a HEA, but getting there was gut-wrenching.

    7. In every Kaitlyn O'Connor novel no matter what happens, even in the darkest points, humor prevails. It makes her stories so remarkable and they never lose that human touch. So when she's writing about aliens breaking a human woman to their will to protect her, and the psychology and sexual physiology of the situation, it makes you question the entire dynamic of male/female relations and interaction. I found this story to be one of her exceptional efforts because it was different from her usual f [...]

    8. Not nearly as enjoyable as the other books I've read by this author. There were oddly done BDSM elements. I've got nothing in particular against that but in this book it just didn't make sense and wasn't well done. These two guys seemed to be all protective and loving and stuff with no indication that they were so dominant. She wakes up, they are all 'you're so beautiful and we want you' then they are questioning her about what had caused the devastation on Earth and where the survivors went and [...]

    9. where is the hated it button? normally I really like the authors books but this one gahhh i despised the male leads and could not work out WTF she saw in them or even why she would fall in love with them it was like reading a train wreck you know its bad but you keep thinking surely not, it cant be this bad but it was /sigh

    10. I'm unsatisfied and i can't quite pinpoint why. theoretically a good story, but the execution is lacking. What is with the authors horrible 'heroines'?! every main female character i have read is a coward. They can't deal with anything that comes along that is an inconvenience to them so they push it to the back of their mind or ignore it, just completely refuse to think about it. cuz ya know, thats gonna completely solve your problem. The women always act like children and are often compared to/ [...]

    11. Sigh. I read the first book and it could have been a lot better and for some reason I really had high hopes this one would be what the other was not, it was worse. I wont go into all the details but after all the woman protested for rights in the first books, and this was at least a hundred years later you'd think the society would be much different, it's not. If anything it's worse. I liked the two men at first, it was interesting about Earth and how she lost her memory and what happened, then [...]

    12. I really loved the story, the sex was great. This book alone could/should have been two; a little more in-depth on the science and world building. She needs a continuity checker though, Lady Seana's ship turns into Lady Selena's ship midway through the space flight. And, I hate to see men fighting over a woman, when they could all be in bed together. Well done though, and I'm looking for the others now, I got this as a stand-alone on one of my erotic ebook sites like freya's bower or renbooks, b [...]

    13. (view spoiler)[Whoa! Pages and pages of sex for the 'heroine' who is denied orgasm by means of a device strapped to her abdomen, including being penetrated by a f**king machine while strapped into a chair. While being f**ked by the machine, one of the 'heroes' works at a desk next to her for several hours, while not acknowledging her presence at all. All designed to 'break' her, while preparing her to be a sex slave for their commander And she falls in love with the two 'heroes'? Ugh! Such a dis [...]

    14. More like 3 1/2 stars. Not my favorite from this author, but still enjoyable. Light editing issues, including a name change for one of the characters, which is sloppy, but I did figure out who they meant. My biggest problem was so little of the book dealt with character development of the heroine. We knew a lot more about the heroes than her and I never quite understood how she came to care so much for them in the end. Still, if you like these kinds of stories, this was pretty good.

    15. Stomach-turning torture of a sexual nature that just goes on and on. All done for her own "good" to make her into what they want. More than not my cuppa, it left a lasting, negative impression. I like many of this author's books, but this makes me hesitant, and definitely not continuing this series.

    16. I normally love Kaitlyn's books, but this just depressed me. There was NOTHING loveable about the two male lead characters. Cruel and sadistic is more like it.

    17. I'm rating this one a 2.5 I liked the 1st three chapters and the last 3. It was all that in the middle that bored me cross-eyed. Sorry I usually enjoy Kaitlyns books
