    1. I decided to read and review this book after reading a one star review that left me curious about a book really being that bad. I can safely say it wasn't. I loved it and didn't put it down from start to finish. The romance was amazing and realistic enough to make me feel like it just might happen like that. It made me wish I had my very own cabin in a mountain to generate my very own happy ever after.Brilliant romance story and a great quick read to warm the heart.

    2. DUMB. DUMB. DUMB. SO DUMB IT HURTS.JUST SHUT UP. YOU'RE STUPID MORE PLEASE! YOU DUMB.This was far too saccharine, suffers from an excess of cliches, a surfeit of terrible dialogue, excessive fairy-tale elements and tedious. I TRIED TO ENJOY IT! There were ridiculous plot holes, cringe-worthy dialogue and the male lead resembled a Pop Star (like Justin Bieber) rather than a Rock Star. The front cover gave away that it'd be a fluffy chick lit type read but I read "famous rocker" and thought I'd giv [...]

    3. Rock star Brady Gates is used to having women throw themselves at him, it is the main reason he decides to take a month off and go into hiding at a rented mountain cabin. Brady never expected it to be a disaster and to meet Ella who has zero interest in who he is. Both have misconceptions about one another but as they find themselves snowed in together they find themselves becoming friends and wanting to explore the attraction for each other.Very fun read. The end was rushed a bit but overall en [...]

    4. I love indie authors - I'm constantly on downloading freebies and looking for the book that has me buying another.Thing is, this book put more effort into discussing indie authors, and self-publishing, than it did on the romance. Tell me a story, don't tell me why I need to support indie authors - I already do, I downloaded the book. The hero was alright, he had the standard douche-turns-nice-guy lines. The heroine was also alright, when she wasn't talking about her "writing". In the end, the ch [...]

    5. Got a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.Brady Gates, voted sexiest man of the year, gets tired of his hectic rock star life. Wanting to write some music, he enlists help from his bodyguard to let him go to a secluded place away from random women throwing themselves at him and paparazzi following his every move. Ella Lewis, a young historical romance writer, will be spending another quiet time at her cabin to finish another book. Rescuing a hot egoistic celebrity was not one of h [...]

    6. While Snowbound is a sweet romance which really is a story about two people finding love where they least expected it. Both Ella and Brady planned to take some time to get away and focus on their writing; Ella her romance novels and Brady his songs. Ella rescues Brady from a massive blizzard after he slid the Jeep he was driving off the road and takes him back to her cabin where they find refuge from the storm. Initially I found myself rolling my eyes at Brady’s character. He was conceited, eg [...]

    8. I literally read this book in one sitting! Immediately, I fell in love with both lead characters and couldn't wait to find out what would happen next, and so, hours later, I still haven't put the book down. Ella is my kind of girl, she is independent and knows what she needs and wants in order to be happy. I appreciate that she is honest and doesn't play games in love. Meet Brady, a megastar musician that is jaded by life and has little ability to trust anyone. When a gigantic blizzard leaves th [...]

    9. I loved the premise of this story. It started out great, but the dialogue lost me. Too many times I rolled my eyes at some of the conversations especially between the main characters. Neither had a real "voice." Also, there was too much "telling" and not enough showing. I never felt a connection to the characters. It was as if they were kept at arms length from the reader. That's why the few times that Ella cried, I almost didn't care. Plus, the end was wrapped up way too easily. Sometimes you w [...]

    10. Better than what you usually get with a freebie/cheapie. This is not the story for people looking for extreme, gritty. ver bad boy rocker types. This is a (slightly) more realistic take on a common trope. I liked the slow build better than the insta attraction you often get with these stories.

    11. Brady is a rock star that needs some alone time. His body guard suggests a rural cabin that his cousin could procure. Ella is a local that has her own cabin that is heading up for some alone time to work on her novel. Little did they know a blizzard would throw them together.

    12. I really enjoyed this book. People are not always how they seem. The main character learns how different a person can actually be once you get to know them. This is a sweet story that will leave you wanting more.

    13. A fun, feel good quick read! I really enjoyed the storyline, even if a bit predictable, I didn't mind as I was swept away with the characters.

    14. This is on my "stopped reading" shelf because while the premise was pretty fun, the prose was just too awkward and obvious to make it through the second chapter.

    15. Good bookYou people should just read this book yourselves and write your own review on this novel yourself and I really enjoyed reading this book very much so. Shelley MA

    16. While Snowbound was one of the books in my Winter Reading List and I had high hopes for it. Sadly, I don't have a lot of good comments about it. Actually, the only really positive point that I can think of is that it wasn't very long, so it didn't waste a lot of my timeIf not for the sexual references, this would probably by a perfect romance for teens, because the characters don't seem to have grown out of that age. What I liked:- again, not much. The plot idea was interesting, though, and I fe [...]

    17. A short but sweet romance 4 starsI really enjoyed this book. It’s not very long and I easily read it in one sitting. Ella went to her cabin in the woods in the beginning of November where there was TV or internet so that she could get some much needed writing completed. Being a self-published author she made a decent living but wasn’t well known. She liked it that way though because while she had some dedicated followers no one really knew who she was since she wrote under an assumed name so [...]

    18. Brady Gates is a gorgeous, sexy rock star who, after finding another naked blond in his hotel room and sick of the paparazzi, has decided to leave the chaos and go to a secluded cabin to work on his song writing. Ella is a historical romance novelist who writes and publishes her own books. She too is getting away to her secluded cabin to just write without any of her distractions. Ella does not use her real name, so she doesn't have to deal with the notoriety that Brady does. A storm is brewing a [...]

    19. This book tries to show that "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover" and in many ways succeeds with that. There are some funny parts to this book such as the example of Brady in a snowstorm using a wig as a hat, and the interaction between Brady and Ella is good to read as she isn't prepared to take any rubbish from him. Being with cell phone service, TV or internet is a great way of getting to know someone and this is what happens with Brady and Ella.On the downside, there was a great deal of [...]

    20. My ThoughtsI was busy for the last two and a half weeks crocheting an afghan for a friend. I finished it yesterday and just wanted some "Mind Candy" that would be a quick little light fluffy chick-lit book to read. This book fit the bill, certainly not much substance, but it was sweet and entertained me, and brought me down from my crocheting high. I could finally kick back and relax, doing what I most enjoyading. Before I started reading the book I wasn't sure whether I would finish the book or [...]

    21. While Snowbound by Anna J. McIntyreBrady Gates is one of the rich and famous. A rock star. After yet another wacko fan has found a way into his private rooms he decides he needs to get away. His trusted bodyguard sets him up with a secluded cabin. He escapes unnoticed and everything seems to be going as planned. Until the snowstorm.Ella Lewis is headed up to her cabin to get some writing done. With no Internet or outside intrusions it's the best place for her to concentrate. She didn't plan on f [...]

    22. I enjoyed that this rock star book didn't have a heroine going star crazy over the hero. This was a sweet little romance and showed feelings developing over time. I found it refreshing that there was no love at first sight and it felt very real. Until the end, which was rushed, and basically felt like a cliff notes version of what came next. There was no real "fix" to what happened between them. I mean, if a man disappeared on me, I wouldn't just welcome him back with open arms. The other thing [...]

    23. *ARR (Advance Reader Review) - copy provided as a gift in exchange for an honest reviewThe cover is ok - the colours matched the theme and the image is sweet. The Characters are pretty good, not overly strong but well described. It would have been nice to have more history for both of them and gone a little bit deeper. The story was nice, different. I liked the way the 2 characters had their issues and how they came around. It was a nice little story. Not something deep and serious but a fluffy r [...]

    24. Author Ella Lewis just wants to spend a month in her family's mountain cabin so she can finish her latest romance novel in peace. But while driving to the cabin in a snowstorm, Ella finds a man half frozen and wearing a yellow wig, stumbling along the road. Rock Star Brady Gates has been trying to escape the paparazzi and rabid fans. He didn't expect to get stuck in the snow on his way to a mountain retreat. He also didn't plan on spending the week stuck in a cabin with the only woman in the wor [...]

    25. Rockstar and writer heat up a snowstorm =)A quick little light (took me two hours to read) romance between a rockstar and a writer. Both are trying to get away and work in solitary peace and quiet, then due to a snowstorm and broken down car, end up together to ride out the weather. It was clean fun (when anything does happen it's very PG rated) and the kind of book to curl up with on a cold night by the fire, with a glass of wine. Not enough heat to get 5 stars I gave it *4* sweet romance stars [...]

    26. While Snowbound is an excellent story. It caught my attention right from the get go and held it. Ellie's reaction to Brady in the beginning is so close to what mine would have been, even if I did recognize him, I could feel her pain and just wanted to tell him to 'get over' himself already. As the story & relationship relaxed and progressed we got to know who they really were. All around a very satisfying story without being too explicit. Well done Ms McIntyre.

    27. A cute, light read that is perfect if your looking for a short read on a snowy night.Ella is a romance Arthur who is going up to her cabin in the mountain to write without distractions ( phones,TV,Internet) finds a man in a snowstorm walking and freezing. The man turns out to be Brady a Rock star who acts conceited, and is an egotistical jerk. Brady can't believe that Ella has no clue who he is. Together they are stranded in a cabin with a blizzard outside and no outside communication.

    28. This novella was enjoyable, not only do you get a look at the frustration of a famous rocker, it also went into detail of the digital publishing world. And of course where there are famous people you have the intrusive paparazzi.
