    1. Let me start out by saying I did not read the original book For Love and Honor. I have however read this version of the book (Newly Named Valiant Chaos) and loved it immensely. I read the original ending and the new one. Both at the end of this book. I have to say both are good endings. So I will let you all decide if you like the new one or old ending. Brogan d'Aurilliac is foreign born, his Father died when he was 10 yrs. His mother move to England and married an Englishman. He is a soldier fo [...]

    2. Audiobook Review:From the first sentence, she had me. “It was a lovely night to die.” Is it possible to stop at this point? It was a possible night for two to die, and it didn’t happen. What happened was a love story so powerful and potent in its intensity, it gripped my being. Is love so instantaneous and all giving in such a short time? I think it could be. I knew my partner for a mere 10 days before we knew. That was 45 years ago! Yes, this is believable and a dream come true for two an [...]

    3. Powerful and Emotional 6 starsOMG! Kathryn Le Veque is truly a talented storyteller. What a roller coaster ride of emotions, again, I was really taken for a wild spin! Now, I understand the controversy about this story. I found Valiant Chaos excellent! I loved her rich character Lady Avalyn, a petite and smart young lady, who was stubborn, strong minded and very passionate. I love the hero Brogan, who was an introvert and a very passionate man. Destiny will bring those two brave souls together; [...]

    4. Kathryn LeVeque touches the soul with the story of Brogan D'Aurilliac and Lady Avalyn du Brant. The story is a little different in the way the hero, Brogan d'Aurilliac, is a foreign born, uneducated common soldier who guards the king and trains the other soldiers, but he is only a soldier. Lady Avalyn comes from one of the wealthiest and most prestigious families in all of England. Hers uncle is the all-powerful, "Kingmaker". Their paths should never have crossed, but fate has other plans for th [...]

    5. Deep Chaos Really.Brogan d'Aurilliac, is a foreign born, uneducated common soldier who guards the king and trains the other soldiers. He is a war machine, but also deep down he has a grief stricken heart. On a dark night of despair for him, Avalyn du Brant changes both of their lives forever. She is the niece of the king's enemy and has a brilliant political mind, but what she feels for this simple man can change everything. The title of this book is so appropriate Valiant Chaos. The turmoil thro [...]

    6. A worthy read I loved this book but I liked the first ending the best. I have become addicted to Le Veque lately. While I do love her books, I do wish there were a few more sex scenes in them. So many of them feature some form of defloweration and that is it for the romance. If we are readers of this genre, then most readers prefer more explicit scenes -not every other page-but some raciness please! Also, she really needs a better proofreader with as popular as her books are. It was amazing the [...]

    7. Remarkable storyI loved the book, it is the opposite of most historical romances in that the hero is not a knight and the heroine is of noble birth. As to the old and new endings as with most readers I love the HEA ending, but I also liked the original ending as well because it is more believable that 2 people who fall in love in 2 days usually are not still together several years later.

    8. Wonderfully written.Wonderfully written.Valiant Chaos is a great read. From the beginning to the end, it was amazing. The alternate ending was also good. The characters had such wonderful emotions that leapt right off the pages and into your heart to stay. Definitely a 5 star read!!!

    9. Chaos for real!OMG! I truly understand the controversy now. FL&H was the only book I had not read because of the ratings and fully agree with the changes. this was crazy chaos alright and shocking twists that caught me off guard. really enjoyed this book and thankful for the changes.

    10. omg I had forgotten how gut wrenching this story washave plenty of tissues with this oneother home run KathrynI am so very glad it is on the market again

    11. 2nd endingAbsolutely. One of best endings I have read. My mom read Harlequin, and so did I. Heart felt. Thank you

    12. OkThis book did not do much for me. The hero was a bit stupid and indecisive. In fact all the men with the exception of the uncle were weak. I barely could make myself finish it.

    13. Either endingThis was a disappointmentoriginal ending was the bestWhole story line just not attention grabbing. Would have been better if longer maybe.
