    1. Let me be fair and say up front this was a first line DNF which is rare even for me."Sade was blessed with good hair,"Ummm. No. Hell no. That type of backward ass nonsense isnt worth reading even one more line. What is that, pandering to some ideal fantasy version of what makes a beautiful black woman? I am irritated on multi levels so just no.

    2. **Spoilers** If you are going to read the book, then do not read this review first, I advise Not to waste your time or money with this book/series **The book started off with promise.A mortal woman meets an elf prince, they form a soul bond.ok I can go with that but then it quickly goes down hill from thereI would have just returned the Human, to the Mortal World but I realize that would be the end of the story. The mortal, Sade, is captured by a dark elf princes, a scorned woman wants revenge.Th [...]

    3. What did I think? Well, I usually prefer vampire novels. I stumbled upon Ms. Johnson's book by accident. I'm a lucky woman. This was such a good book. I read through it in no time, downloaded the second and now I'm in the middle of the third. Actually, I'm a little sad the series will be over, so I am savoring each chapter like the last bits of chocolate candy in a small package. Is it me or did anyone else see her description of the Prince as resembling the Orlando Bloom character in the Hobbit [...]

    4. This book was a good read howeverI love the 2 main characters. There bond seemed more sexual than anything else. I felt the book was a bit rushed. I would have liked a better discription of the elven world. It was vague. Would I continue the series? I'm not sure.

    5. I will admit that I had this book on my TBR list for a while. I downloaded this book for free and it’s been sitting there because I was unsure about the genre, but knowing that I have widened my genre of books, I finally decided to give this book a chance. And believe me, it was a very good decision. It is a novella, so it ends on a cliffhanger. However, it’s the kind of novella that was crafted so well, I didn’t mind investing to find out what happens. The story begins with Sade, who is try [...]

    6. I’ll be brief: This could have been a well written book with a little effort to write scenes of lust with a little less in your face words. I’m sure there are persons who like this kind of shock therapy but the average reader likes to use their imagination when reading and do not need the author to be so explicit. A good author can write in a way that lets the reader know what’s happening without writing porn. The story has a good premise but the author should have focused more on the story [...]

    7. I am caught rating this book between a three and four star. The summary of this book is very captivating. I was slightly disappointed in some of the editing of the book. I came across duplicate dialogue from one chapter to the next - which is a big pet-peeve of mine. I enjoyed the development of the story-line and the characters. I am really looking forward to part two and can't wait to see how the story unfolds. Hope we don’t have to wait too long!

    8. This book was slow and the sex board me. It wasn't a complete book which made me a little upset. I do not like it when others put out sections of the book and call each section a book.I don't believe I have any interest in reading anymore and maybe want come back to this authoris was my first elf book and I might not read another

    9. I'm not sure what I just read? Was this a book or a short story? I'm not quite sure what just happened in this book/short story but I know I don't care to find out what happens to any of the people in the book. It seems like the author just throw everything together. There was no cohesion. The book/short story was a jumbled mess. Don't waste your time.

    10. Satisfactory. It was pretty full and developed for a short story. I've discovered I'm not as much a fan of elfish romances, it's a little bit of a stretch (even for fantasy). But at least for this one, with a little stretch you can experience a fun enough read!

    11. While the sex was hot the story could havebeen a little longer and more in depth. It also leaves you hanging not knowing what happen to Sade and her Elfin Prince they find each other again. she make it back to the mortal world???

    12. I'm on the fence about this one. The beginning of the book was not a good setup for Sade's transition to the elf world. But the book gets a bit better once Sade and Aranion are reunited with his father. I will probably continue the series.

    13. GreatSadie has a crazy ex boyfriend into drugs, and is looking for her. So she moves back to her childhood home. She meets the Prince elf Aranion , they have a connection. They become soul mates. He rescues her from her ex. See how it turns out.

    14. The Elven KingThe book was fair, a little slow could use a bit more adventure and a bit less sexual description. I'm going to try the next installment to see if it gets more intriguing. Don't ever give up on the first installment, open your mind and continue free and clear.

    15. this was ok for me. the world was a bit too far for me to immerse myself into; the characters and cliffhanger i don't think will be enough to make me keep reading this series. but i ever say never.

    16. Book starts off slow. Probably should have researched the book more before reading. Would have learned that it would not finish here. Even so, I would give it 1.5 stars

    17. Well I loved it. it had a nice ring of lave, fantasy, adventure and lust. There's a nice ring to this plot and look for to more from this author as well as this beautiful series .

    18. interesting paranormal series, series is starting off good the characters are interesting elf and human hmmmmm wondering how's that going to turn outlook forward to the next, so far so good!

    19. This first part was just okay at best but the ending was terrible and leaves me without any desire to read the rest of this series.

    20. I wish they were in a set 'cause they're too short on their own. It makes the story choppy. Also, Insta-love.

    21. Argh cliffhanger!!!!!! I really hate cliffhangers which meant I had to drop a star off the rating. This was a reasonably good book. Strong characters, including the female MC.
