    1. I downloaded this book from the author's website.I have read a few zombie horror books and the vast majority of them seem to have the same repetitive theme. However, this book really has a fresh and unique idea. Not only is it well written but it had me guessing as to what was going to happen next to Jordan and his group of survivors. I normally take my time reading a book but I was so engrossed with this one that I ended up finishing it in just two days. I would highly recommend this book, it d [...]

    2. A zombie apocalypse has landed and the safest place to take to is the seas. When it comes to horror and gore, then 'Bloody Memory' has plenty of it, plenty of pus ridden and rotten bodies roaming the pages in all their gory glory. Jordan and his seafaring crew of survivors have to endure natural disasters, zombies, and bloodthirsty criminals to name a few. There is a romantic sub-narrative but it is lightly touched on but far from the focus, which is appropriate considering the trials and tribul [...]

    3. I just love zombie books, but the problem is they are mostly the same. Perrin Briar adds his own unique spin on things with no shortage of blood and gore. The "haven" crew , a mismatched band of survivors living aboard a ship find Jordan Grant floating half dead in the ocean. After nursing him back to health Annie a former psychiatrist learns he is missing the last 6 years of his memory. The only thing they know is that he was in the army because of the dogtags around his neck. After running into [...]

    4. Another great book from the mind of Perrin Briar! This may be another zombie storybut the rollercoaster ride you get as you read is well worth it.I've read books 1-3, and looking forward to starting 4 shortly. This one is truly a can't-put-down.I would recommend this series to all.

    5. This is a bit different than your normal zombie stories. The zombies in this book are called Lurchers and the way they act and behave is not normal. In this box set you get books 1-5 in season one so as soon as you finish one episode you can move on to the next without missing a beat. So I am going to do a review of each episode I figured that might be a bit easier. Now I will go back and leave a more detailed review on each episode on other sites. So in episode one we are introduced to the charac [...]

    6. This book has an interesting and controversial scientific twist on zombie development which resulted in my first ever emotional connection with the zombies. This story has the classic but realistic action that has readers exclaiming, “WTF”, “Kill him! Kill him!” and “No please tell me you’re not that stupid” but of course most everyone has that moment when they can’t believe they did something that stupid at least once in their lives. Great continuity, well developed characters w [...]

    7. Blood Memory: The Complete Season One (Books 1-5)Episode one was the best in my opinion.I've read a lot of zombie books, all the same, this one is different. That's what makes this book better than the rest. What I liked the most was that they were on a boat.I must say there were parts in the book that I did not like, especially the parts when woman were abused , the man 'Terry' used them for sexslaves, I got so angry. I skipped a view pages. The part where they found a camp and the woman were used [...]

    8. Yes, another zombie book, but wait; it's different. The people in the story are fighting for their survival while hiding from the Lurchers by staying on a boat. So even if it is another of these books, it's still gives a different perspective. And for those who love to read about zombie fights, you'll get that too don't worry. The story is refreshing. You won't guess what's coming. It's well written and engrossing. More than once, I found myself worrying for the little group. Blood Memory is the [...]

    9. This book was drawn to my attention by one of Perrin's fans/friends on the basis of other things I had read. To be honest the book cited as similar was not (Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry). It seems this is a common approach, which looking at other reviews isn't always welcomed. To be honest I really don't mind - I always like to find a 'new' author and I'm quite happy to review honestly regardless of what brought me to the book.So - decent enough zombie apocalypse story with a few original [...]

    10. Downloaded Book One for free from the author's website, figuring no huge loss if it totally sucked. But it didn't. Entertaining, fast-paced, a sort of never-lets-you-up-for-air kind of story. I've lost count of the post-apocalyptic/zombie books I've read and this one held my interest. The story raised enough questions about the characters and how the hell this all happened in the first place that I will probably now read book two. Will I brood over the story for days or weeks, contemplating theme [...]

    11. Though I have been looking for books with a diverse cast of characters, people of different race working together to survive, help and have each others backs, mainly in sci-fi and fantasy, and some mystery, well not romance, lets be real, we all know diverse/interracial romance books are just written porn, this isn't about romance, anyway, when someone recommended this book to me, I decided to give it a shot and I am not disappointed. I would like to thank that person.I will give a more complete [...]

    12. Now here's a book that's a bit of a different take on the zombie genre. It has every Hollywood cliched moment with corny jokes, gruesome scenes, sad moments, brief spurts of happy times only to be followed by endless fighting, running, more fighting and more running. The book starts up kind of slow but the story eventually reveals itself like peeling back layers of an onion. Really nicely written. I recommend this book, if you're into the zombie genre and like fast-paced action with snarky momen [...]

    13. 'Blood Memory' is one of the best series I've read. I'm not a big zombie apocalypse reader, but once I started this series, I couldn't stop. I literally did not put my reader down. I loved the uniqueness Perrin Briar brought into this series. The characters were great and I found myself sad when one didn't make it. Full of action, intense scenes, suspense and an awesome plot. A great add to your tbr list. Definitely recommended.

    14. As I said in my review for . For me this man is a Great writer. The episode is a mystery from the beginning to the end. There are heroes and heroins, lots of zombies. Mr. Briar takes you on a ride with all sorts of twists and turns. He takes you from the frying pan to the fire. I can not wait for the next episode! I hope he keeps writing like this.Joe

    15. Great story. The characters are engaging, kept me interested to the end. The zombies are different from most other zombie apocalypse stories definitely plan on getting the next book in the series.Great story; engaging characters kept me interested till the end. Not like a lot of other z a stories. Definitely going to get the next book in the series.

    16. Nope nope nope. I thought this series had promise if the typos and overuse of names instead of pronouns from the first episode were improved. Then I read more. Why was the magical prophecy needed? That was the first time I started scoffing at the story Then the ridiculous telepathy and stilted zombie talk. No thank you.

    17. Blood memory. This is my second time reading this awesome book! I gave it five stars because if I read the same book twice and probably a couple more times I think that it deserves a five star rating. Can't wait to read the rest of the series, I can hardly put the kindle down!!! So on to the next book!!!!!

    18. Another awesome book!Perrin Briar did it again! Loved this book. Looking forward to reading book 4! This is asking for six more words, but I don't have any more!

    19. I'll never read a book by Perrin Briar because his so-called 'launch team' constantly spams me. I'm sure it's terrible.

    20. New take on zombiesVery entertaining, exciting. Seemed rushed in some areas, but a decent read. Looking forward to next season and a new crop of bad guys.
