    1. Nice contemporary romance. Well written well plotted with reasonable motivations for everyone. Lots of brothers so there will be more stories. Jackson is a rock star who is suffering from PTSD after a fire at one of his concerts killed half his band. The heroine is a rape survivor who is afraid to leave his estate where she works. I found both situations were dealt with in a believable manner. The relationship between them was believable and well written.

    2. This novel was intensely emotional and exceptionally entertaining. It`s not very often that a novel can make you laugh & cry in quick succession. Pace builds the world of Beauford Bend slowly and with feeling. She paints a brilliant yet elegant picture that you can`t help but imagine. This is the backdrop for this intriguing story that is about so much more than simply romance, but don`t worry, that`s there in spades as well. The larger than life cast of this story really brings the story hom [...]

    3. This story was full of passion from the very beginning. I didn’t want to finish the book because I didn’t want it to end! Emory and Jackson’s story is one that brings a smile to my face each time I think about it.Emory…in her personal life she is shy and reserved, but in her professional life, well…that woman is full of spunk. She knows her stuff and isn’t afraid to put her foot down, something Jackson isn’t used to.Jackson…he was just as hot as the southern air that filled this [...]

    4. This was an all-around great contemporary romance. Pace does an excellent job of building characters that you care about and want to root for. Both Jackson and Emory have emotional baggage to deal with, both trying to get over devastating past events and figure out how to move forward and achieve the lives they've dreamed of. And both of them are portrayed as really strong personalities that also have an amazing tender side when dealing with the other's vulnerabilities. In addition to Jackson an [...]

    5. Emory returns to the one place that she feels safe after a 'date' that went so wrong. Now she is in charge of the local Beauford manor as an events planner after the owner dies. She, Amelia, left her home to her boys. Jackson comes home several months later to find out that even though he told Emory to close the business, things were going on as before his aunt's death. Both he and Emory have dark pasts that keep them from forming attachments with others. They will learn what. Is in the past has [...]

    6. Such a sweet love story! This book is Forgiving Jackson by Alicia Hunter Pace, the first in The Brothers of Beauford Bend series. I loved every minute of this book. Jackson Beauford returns to his family home and decides to shut down the thriving business that is being run from there, upsetting the world of Emory. Jackson and Emory both have plenty of "baggage" from their lives and they attempt to heal each other before they work on theirselves. It's a sweet tale of struggle, denial, self discov [...]

    7. Love this author's writing style and will definitely be reading more of her work.Emory and Jackson have tragic pasts but the strengths they learned from Miss Amelia brought them to the place where they could find each other and finally heal. It was a beautiful love story with all the manners and grace of the South. A brilliant read

    8. In this steamy contemporary romance Emory and Jackson have faced truly traumatic ordeals and come out of them needing something they can’t get on their own.Read full review in the 2015 April issue of InD'tale Magazine.
