    1. I liked reading The Blackstone Heir by Dani Wade and it sure was enjoyable to see Jacob and KC come together once more ,this time forever. The best part of the story was that the story had a little bit of everything. Their love was not easy and they had to face some obstacles and clear a lot of things between them to move forward. Obstacles does not mean angst in this case and on a whole, it was a smooth story with some bumps on the way.KC was an awesome mother and a great heroine because she wa [...]

    2. 2.5 stars. Overall this story was ok and maybe I would have been more invested in the characters if I had read the first in the series, but I felt like the characters couldn't figure out what they wanted. Jacob went back and forth between threatening KC with lawyers and letting her decide what they should do. I didn't feel the chemistry between the characters and I didn't like the end. I felt like his actions weren't reflective of a man in love and because of it had a hard time with the HEA.

    3. Dani Wade's Harlequin Desire's book, The Blackstone Heir, continues the story of the Blackstone brothers that began with A Bride's Tangled Vows. This is Jacob Blackstone's story. Jacob discovers that he is a father and wonders why his ex, KC Gatlin, kept it a secret. Jacob has returned to Black Hills to help his brother, Aiden run the family's mill. KC and Jacob have decided to give co-parenting a try. I thought this was a fun story with likable characters. I enjoyed finding out more about the B [...]

    4. D2355 Feb15 Mill Town Millionaires #2 KC Gatlin disappeared after James Blackstone his demand to pay for the abortion of his grandson Jacob's baby. Jacob finds out he has a son when he spots KC in her family's bar holding an infant with Blackstone golden curls. He is furious she hasn't said anything to him after she knew he was in Black Hill and working at the mill. Knowing the danger his son and KC are in if anyone discovers they are connected to him. Another sabotage go at the town and mill ta [...]

    5. ***2.5 ~ 3.0 Stars***'The Blackstone Heir' ~ Book Two of 'Mill Town Millionaires Series' by Dani Wade.I've been awaiting this book's arrival at our local library since its release over a year ago and was so excited to finally have my turn to read it. Unfortunately, this was less than what I had anticipated and a bit disappointing, if you will.In this story we have Jacob Blackstone, a southern millionaire who wants everything on his own terms - the way he planned his life out years before and, to [...]

    6. I didn't realize I'd stepped into a series, so I found myself wondering what I'd missed in the first story. We pick up with KC Gatlin, returning from being away (presumably forced to leave by the Blackstone patriarch before his death). Now he's dead, she's back and encountering her former lover, Jacob Blackstone, whom she up and left at his grandfather's command - not that she was leaving that muche was Jacob's dirty little secret (or so she thought). What Jacob didn't realize is that KC left wh [...]

    7. "The Blackstone Heir" by Dani Wade is a part of the series 'Billionaires and Babies.' It can be read as part of the series or as a stand alone. There is enough information in this book that the reader could follow the story without reading the series, but I do recommend reading it as a series. In this story we find KC Gatlin who is back in town after giving birth to a little boy. She was having a fun, no commitment, relationship Jacob Blackstone. Jacob doesn't know that he became a father after t [...]

    8. The Blackstone family owned the mill and most of the real estate in the town of Black Hills old James Blackstone was not a nice man. KC met Jacob Blackstone, one of James's grandsons on a plane. KC worked in the local bar in Black Hills. The chemistry was right and she and Jacob had an affair. Jacob made sure it was quiet and no one knew. He visited her when he was in town but never took her out in public. One day KC left town and changed her phone number. Jacob missed her but she really wasn't [...]

    9. The Blackstone Heir was an enjoyable read. I really liked the characters and thought they were fully developed. KC and Jacob had a sexual relationship until she left town. KC comes back, but doesn't come back alone. Jacob finds out he's a father and decides he wants his son. KC had a reason for leaving, but Jacob doesn't make it easy for her in the beginning. This book is filled with secrets, doubts, and romance. I really enjoyed Jacob's character, once he started to let down some of his walls, [...]

    10. This is a really enjoyable read that is well written and has delightful characters. There is mistrust, determination, sexual chemistry and a bit of mystery. Jacob and KC need to learn to trust themselves before they can trust each other and move forward. Their journey has obstacles, but true love is worth it!!Received copy for review.

    11. Cute and nicely paced. Interesting side characters. A little bit of mystery which is not resolved! So a heads up before you read, don't get too involved in the sabotage, because there's no answers.

    12. Good Second Book in seriesThis is the second book in the Billionaires and Babies series. The love story between Jacob and KC has closure but the suspense part of the series is still unresolved. Looking forward to the next book.

    13. "Their tug-of-war for control is a front for complicated emotions and insecurities, but they come together with passion, honesty and trust" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).Miniseries: Billionaires and Babies

    14. Jacob and Jc must learn to trust each other. This book has a little of everything and some mystery to be thrown in also. Good book and an author to watch.

    15. Disappointed in the endingThe book was ok, but was not sure why the problem that hounded the town and family was not solved, seemed like the story ended too abruptly.
