    1. This book is being reviewed with a two star because I quite literally thought it was ok. I've read this author before (she writes historical romances) and I wasn't a huge fan but I figured I'd try again because, hey, sometimes I'm just not in the mood for a particular work but that doesn't mean I won't like the author. In this particular instance I just didn't really like the story. It was predictable, it was a little contrived and it all seemed a little empty. I found the heroine to be annoying [...]

    2. Trouble When You Walked In is a feel good read. Kieran Kramer created a well written read that combines the small town feel with big city problems. I found this novel to be amusing and touching. I had a wonderful time reading about Cissie and Boone. Each time I thought I could not laugh any harder, I was proven wrong. Cissie and Boone's quests to get the best of each other was funny, sexy and captivating. I love finding new authors to read. Thanks to NetGalley, St. Martin's Press and Kieran Kram [...]

    3. What a cute small town romance. I loved the characters. Cissie and Boone were so meant to be and they way they run for mayor was cute. Even though they both were running they still managed to sneak in kisses. It was sweet. I enjoyed how they agreed to not let anything happen between them but they couldn't stop themselves. Although the book was good I mean what's the chances a tree falls on Cissies house and Boone lets her and her grandmother stay at his place until there house is rebuilt? Then he [...]

    5. I must say that this one wasn't for me, which was disappointing because I really enjoyed other books from this author. I found this one just a bit silly for my taste. It was though, very well written and had a cast of crazy characters that I couldn't help chuckling over. If you enjoy your romance on the super sweet and silly side, you'll enjoy this book.

Boone Braddock is our hero, and the Mayor, as well as the football coach. Boone had always been the most popular guy in town, going back to his days playing football. 10. Trouble When You Walked In by Kieran Kramer is indeed the most fascinating hot read readers will see. Brilliant, sexy, and heart melting are the three things I would use to decribe this novel. Readers will be swept off their feet deep into the novel. Readers will get a front row seat of how the main female character struggled with her feelings towards the alpha male in her town. Two family's driven apart from one another. Neither one likes the other. A fiery passion that soon leads to a romance [...]

    11. Small town N.C. Where everyone knows everyone. 2 characters are Cissy the Librarian and Boone the mayor. One day Cissy is at the library doing what she does best helping people finding books . In walks Boone with a lady friend who is laughing at everything Boone says . Cissy wanders what Boone is doing there he never comes to the library . He has come in to tell her that he wants to close the library down and merge it with the library in the town next to theirs. She is floored . Wondering WHY ??? [...]

    12. Trouble When you Walked In was like a Harlequin type book, where it's all about the romance, but it's forbidden because of some reason depending on the type of book it is, but at the end of the book they both live happily ever after anyway. The main character in this book was Cissie who likes to do everything by the book. Literally. The town librarian in Kettle Knob, North Carolina, she’s determined to preserve the future of literature and the library’s romantic legend for her patrons. It’ [...]

    13. I was given an ARC in return for an unbiased review**Spoiler Alert**Cissy is the librarian of Kettle Knob, NC. She loves her job and her town she can't imagine being any where else. Her whole world is turned upside down when the Governor of Kettle Knob walks in one day. Cissy knows something is wrong as Boone never walks in the library. Boone is the Governor while trying to keep the town afloat he decides to close the library down and merge with the neighboring town's library. This is where the [...]

    14. ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.Ugh, the trials of reading a book where the main character has the same job as you do. However, in this case, I didn't feel that the position itself was trivialized. Just that the character of Cissie was a generic stereotype of a librarian--buttoned up and then a threat to the funding for her library causes her to get a backbone and highlight her hair and make some wardrobe changes (including more contemporary glasses). [...]

    15. Trouble When You Walked In is a fun, humorous, and sweet small-town read (which is one of my favorite kinds of books). I love the quirkiness, the closeness, and how involved everyone is with everyone else. It makes me crave a different way of life, even one full of nosy busybodies. Boone is the can’t-do-wrong golden child – he’s nice, cares about the town and its people. He’s the guy that men want to be and women just want. But he’s also juggling a lot of expectations, especially from [...]

    16. 4.5 starsI liked this book. Really I did. I know it took me forever and a day to finish reading it, but it was through no fault of its own. I just happened to start this novel at a really unfortunate time of reading for me. Thanksgiving weekend [aka "family time"], my birthday, and then the release of a novel I've been dying to read all came together to make the perfect storm for me putting off this novel for so long. However, I thought it was a really cute, sexy and fun story. I love romance no [...]

    17. A fun small town romance. I’ll admit I picked this book by mistake. I misread the authors name and thought I was getting something totally different from an author with a similar name. It was a happy mistake. This is the first I’ve read from this author but not the last. Trouble When You Walked In takes us to small town rural North Carolina. Cissie Rogers is the town librarian and a dreamer. She is 32 and believes in the library’s romantic legend that her true love from out of town will wa [...]

    18. I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley for an honest reviewOUBLE WHEN YOU WALKED IN is a sweet love story. The characters and story line are well-developed. I loved the characters of Cissie and Boone. Boone is the Mayor, and High school football coach, and Cissie is the local librarian. When Boone walks in the library and lets Cissie know that they are moving the library to the strip mall between the two towns, sparks start to fly. She has a sit in at the library to protest this move. She [...]

    19. Trouble When You Walked In is a sweet, contemporary romance that takes place in a small town. Cissie is the town librarian and Boone is the town Mayor. Boone wants to close the library, but Cissie won’t allow it. What’s a girl to do? She decided to run for town Mayor, herself! It doesn’t matter that Boone is the golden boy of the town or that he is the sexiest thing to walk into her library. She won’t let the good looking mayor take away the thing she loves. She wins the mayoral race and [...]

    20. Kieran Kramer has done in her latest book, Trouble When You Walked In exactly what she did in You’re So Fine; which is make me fall for a man I normally wouldn’t care to be around. This time instead of an actor it’s a small town politician, namely the mayor up for re-election. On top of that Boone is also the high school football coach, again not my favorite sport. However, Boone is now a favorite even when he fumbles majorly which he really does with Cissie. The rest of the cast of charact [...]

    21. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.Ms. Kramer has done it again. She has wrote a book filled with characters that you want to root for. Cissie Rogers is the town librarian. She loves her job and the small town of Kettle Knob, NC. When she finds out that Mayor Boone Braddock intends to move the library, she is not too happy. She tries to sway him to change his mind and when that doesn't work, she runs against him for mayor.Boone loves his job as mayor and the local hi [...]

    22. This was a cute story, and the summary is pretty spot on. I really loved Boone. He was just like lots of guys from where I'm from. I wasn't crazy about Cissie, but that's no surprise. Boone really stole the show here. The sex isn't very explicit so if that's your thing, you'll like this one. Overall, Trouble When You Walked In is a cute book with a swoony guy and a small-town feel. --For more reviews and bookish talk, visit our blog at Pretty Sassy Cool.

    23. As a person who works in a library, I love to read a book with a librarian in it! Cissie is fighting for her library's life when hunky Mayor Boone decides to close the library and move it to a shopping mall. Cissie, who has always had a bit of a thing for Boone, finds herself living in his house with her Nana after their house is damaged. Then she decides to fight him for the election and become the mayor. This is a cute and quirky love story. I loved the interactions between the two main charact [...]

    24. Oh I did not like this book. Just not at all. Cissie was so small minded and selfish! A new library--bigger and updated with more staff? Exactly how is this a bad thing? Boone even offered to get her a raise to pay for her gas since the new building was further away. More program opportunities to serve more people? Quickly, lets hang Boone up by the toes. How dare he? Even her friends and Nana werent on her side. They were supporting her because they like her (and pity her a bit) not because the [...]

    25. Kieran Kramer’s latest, Trouble When You Walked In, put several of my favorite things together in a boiling cauldron: a librarian heroine, a local historical legend, feuding families, a cranky cat, quirky small town, and a hero that’s hiding a big secret from the world. This results in a fabulously quirky, highly entertaining story that hits all the right buttons. Kramer’s writing style is crisp, and flawless. Boone and Cissie are magnets that can’t help but come together once they are i [...]

    26. I really enjoyed this cute small town romance story. Cissie Rodgers and Boone Braddock are rivals from the beginning. He wants to close the library and merge it with another towns, and she will do anything to save it. Including running against him for the position of mayor of Kettle Knob. These two have great chemistry and whether loving or fighting there was always something fun going on when these two were together. I loved the ups and downs in this story, it had great flow and kept me reading [...]

    27. Great Book! This is a great book by Kieran Kramer. Cissie Rogers works as a librarian in Kettle Knob, North Carolina and does everything by the book. When the mayor Boone Braddock wants to close the library, she decides to run for mayor herself. The problem is Boone is favorite in Kettle Knob, he is a champion athlete and stellar football coach with deep local roots, and very sexy. The more time they spend with each other they can’t deny the attraction. If you are looking for a sweet romance, w [...]

    28. I really liked this book. It was a change of reading Kieran' s previous books. This sure was a busy story. I like that this was written as a Southern story in North Carolina. They sure did believe in their History! Cissie is a librarian and Boone is the Mayor and High School coach. She lights up when she finds out the library will close. She is told to run for Mayor to stop it. Spoiler. There are a lot of twists and spoilers. It is very hard to walk away from and keep the tissues close. Boone ha [...]

    29. Another wonderful story by Kieran Kramer. Cissie and Boone have much in common and some things they disagree on. A great place to begin with a romance story. They find the common ground in that fact that they fall in love and as Kieran's saying goes "Love Changes Everything". This was a funny, charming, romance filled read. It takes place in a small town with a diverse set of characters, from the snobby high-class (that every town has) to the special needs son and his mom (who adores her son and [...]

    30. I've learned this book from one of my favorite authors, Darynda Jones. So I've borrowed it from the public library. It's an endearing romance of two people whose interest is opposite from one another. It is a good portrayal of "opposite attracts" relationship. Boone is a Mayor of Kettle Knob who wants to relocate the public library and use the facility for something economical to the town. Cissie is the librarian who opposes to the idea and believes in historical romance bliss. I really like how [...]
