    1. If you are looking for a nice, sweet read, Coming Home by April Zyon is a great book to pick up. It is first in the Massey, TX series and you will find yourself wanting a return trip to town just as soon as you read the last word. I loved Massey and was not ready for Coming Home to end. You would think that a book that started with sadness would find it a difficult task to move toward happier times, but Ms. Zyon did a superb job of moving us past the death of Rhys father. I don’t want to make [...]

    2. This was as short quick read that I really liked. After sixteen years in the Marine Corps, Rhys Hollister is returning to Massey, Texas with a heavy weight bearing down on him. His father’s life hangs in the balance, marring any pleasure he finds in coming back home. Finally meeting Gwen Baker, his father’s doctor and family friend, comes as an unexpected pleasure in a time of such sadness. This is the first time reading this author and this is the first book in a new series for me this book [...]

    3. Two ships that pass in the night. Rhys and Gwen have been getting their sisters out of trouble for years, but they seemed to always miss each other. Now that Rhys is home from serving his country to be at his father's death bed, he can't help but to be gaga over the doctor. Gwen can't stop drooling over Rhys which is totally inappropriate given his father dying and all.Rhys is that big dangerous military type who has a heart of gold and is the biggest teddybear when it comes to the women in his [...]

    4. Word Count: 26,360Rhys and Gwen's younger sisters have been best friends since birth and they each have had to get them out of trouble so how is it that they haven't met until now.The Universe knew it wasn't their time to meet. I loved the flirting between Rhys and Gwen, they had an instant connection but both guarded their hearts. I loved seeing them let their guards down so that their feelings could grow into something that would last a lifetime.

    5. Rhys is coming home after being in the Marines for sixteen years and after his father has been hurt. Rhys meets his father's doctor and family friend Gwen Baker. Gwen and Rhys have an instant attraction and Gwen is very helpful to Rhys' family in their time of suffering. This was a quick read that had some really HOT scenes. I am looking forward to reading more of this series and seeing what happens with Rhys' friends and his sister.

    6. Through tragedy is it possible for two people to find their forever love. Rhys Hollister has resigned his post in the marines returning to Massey TX to spend time with his father before he passes. Gwen Baker is the Doctor taking care of Mr. Hollister and the moment these two meet both will find something they had never planned on, each other! This was a great start to the Massey, TX series and I look forward to reading what comes next

    7. I won this book in a giveaway. What did I like?I loved the way his family accepted her, especially after the wreck that was her childhood. I thought the scene with the mic pen was too funny. What did I not like?I was pissed off about the way her "dad"and his family (except the grandad) treated her. They need a good talking to.Recommendation: I am looking forward to more in this series. I hope to see more about his military buddies.

    8. A short fast read, Coming Home allowed a family tragedy to evolve into something heartfelt and long-lasting. I enjoyed the overall storyline and the easy banter between Rhys and Gwen.I'm looking forward to reading book the next instalment.
