    1. This short story is also part of an anthology called Boughs of Evergreen, with proceeds going to The Trevor project, and about a half dozen of us over on PBA read and did a Group Review of all of the short stories. My review for this short by Larry Benjamin:The writing the writing the writing! 2. 3.5 starsSurreal with harsh truths underneath "My son is gay," Vi whispered. Mama waited. "I don't want my son to be gay." Then you do not want your son." Mama said.

    4. A Beautiful GiftAiden is sent to an island to remove him from a situation his mother cannot accept. Luckily, magic, or voodoo, claims him and awards him a future you'll never imagine is possible!Definitely beautiful.

    5. Funny how sometimes one last sentence can feel completely out of place when everything leading up to it feels so rightStill, it's a very beautiful and moving story with an interesting twist.
