    1. It's a good primer into Go. Not comprehensive, but it gives you what you need to know to get started. It's more suited to experienced developers who are curious about Go.

    2. I have come across programming books that suck. This is not one of them. It is concise, precise and a joy to read and get started with Go.

    3. Answers questions that naturally present themselves, more readable compared to other books about Go I've read.

    4. As a beginner in GoLang i understood the writer perfectly. I like how it showed the difference between pointers vs values at the end of every chapter. It wasn't so long that i felt i would never finish. Definitely a resource to keep on the shelf for a refresher.

    5. Excellent and quick introduction to Go. This book is very reminiscent of "Dive in to Python" by Mark Pilgrim and is definitely written for programmers with numerous languages under their belt already. The brevity and speed in which the author covers the major topics fundamental to Go is refreshing. That being said, my only real criticism of the book is that sometimes the code examples were a little disjointed. It was not always clear how the code example he just covered fit in to the overall stru [...]

    6. Short, good, concise primer into the Go programming language up to and including channels. Due to the tiny length you won't find anything here that you can't find anywhere else, but it's clear and free!

    7. A concise survey of the language fundamentals that whets the appetite. It moves perhaps too fast for a beginner (and the example "Sayan" was weird) but a free resource to tempt people to the official tutorial and play.golang

    8. Great Go intro/reminder book.Explains most of the Golang concepts and must know-hows.Compared to the Go tutorial it has greater in-depth information on some topics. However it lacks exercises and the Golang tutorial has them.

    9. It is a good introduction to the language, however it falls short when compared to golangs official tutorial and effective go.
