    1. The following review is based off my own opinions, thoughts and reactions. So in other words brace yourself. *There may be inappropriate words such as curse words.* You have been advised in advance.*Where do I even start?! Oh my glob, so much I could talk about and so many thoughts I want to type out about this book!!!For starters, my amazing friend introduced me to this series. So its his fault that I became so obsessed over this series. With him being a homosexual and myself being bisexual, yo [...]

    2. Not for the Faint of Heart - Hide and Seek Vol. 3 ReviewSo I come now (not like that!) to the end of the Hide and Seek series. And I am rather sad to see it end. Here is the story of two grown ass men finding love and making it work around their professions and their families. The two have been enjoying a rather heated but until now supposedly shallow sexual relationship that is much more important to both of them than they are willing to admit. What happens in this volume? Trips to the beech! M [...]

    3. More reviews (and no fluff) on the blog surrealtalvi.wordpress/Hide and Seek is the third and final volume in this sweet and mature romance series. I've really enjoyed following the relationship of our two main characters: each is unique and distinct and don't follow the cliches often found in this genre. Author Sakuragi does a great job of letting their relationship unfold organically and without high drama or over the top situations: there are no jealous lovers, deus ex machina plot devices, u [...]

    4. Definitely a series to read over and over. The ending was very simple and not too sappy. I was a bit sad that it doesn't go longer as there are questions left unanswered that get brought up in the previous volume. However, with the declaration of Saji of not needing to know Shu's past I think it's okay to end the series here. Again very, very quick read.

    5. This was the perfect end to the series. Not only did they discuss their relationship like adults and think about it - rushing things is often a common relationship plot line in a lot of yaoi I've read, and this was a nice change to see - but they acted like proper adults about everything. The plot wrapped up really nicely and it left me feeling warm and I couldn't stop smiling. The artwork seems to have cleaned up, the characters have such a good amount of depth and are perfectly three dimensiona [...]

    6. SERIES REVIEWHIMEGOTO ASOBI has recently become such a popular yaoi manga, and I am always looking for yaoi manga recommendations all the time and decided to give it a try and I am in LOVE! I absolutely devoured each chapter up. I always look forward to each and every chapter that comes out that the wait is painful.Tanihara is a shop owner who has a daughter, and we have Doctor Saji who has this really scary face, but is a sweet and gentle man inside who is also gay. Saji confesses that he likes [...]

    8. Hide and Seek is the third and final volume in this sweet and mature romance series. I've really enjoyed following the relationship of our two main characters: each is unique and distinct and don't follow the cliches often found in this genre. Author Sakuragi does a great job of letting their relationship unfold organically and without high drama or over the top situations: there are no jealous lovers, deus ex machina plot devices, unlikely coincidences, or misunderstandings. Rather, Hide and Se [...]

    10. I am rather saddened at this being the final volumeI think out of the majority of yaoi manga I've ever read (and as much as I love Yaya Sakuragi's works), Tanihara and Doctor Saji are my absolute favorite couple ever. What they went throughe fact that their relationship is far from perfect and ideal--the fears of knowing one another's "not so perfect" pasts. And this may well be because they are both adults and not teenagers/young adults. It was a very real relationship and I really like that a [...]

    11. I really enjoyed the conclusion to this series. My only complaint about the story is the treatment of Shu's daughter; perhaps I have been spoiled by other yaoi manga--Only Serious About You, FAKE, Future Lovers--that do a great job of integrating the family and the romantic relationships. Here, everything is purposely separated and Shu just lets it all go without a fight. It doesn't seem in character for him, especially after that awesome at the beach chapter. I would have liked to see the story [...]

    12. This series was rather enjoyable. It wasn't too long, but there was enough time for Doc and Shuji's relationship to truly develop. I like that it also included a little bit about both of their personal lives (Chi and Doc's dad.) I also like that Shuji had to work through something like being an uke when he was always used to playing the "male" part in a relationship.

    13. I really liked this book. It was very sweet. I really liked the way the two main characters were able to resolve their problems. This was the third and last book of this series, although it would be nice to see if Doc and Shu were able to eventually get married.
