    1. This is an interesting book on what it is like to be a wedding photographer. He tells funny stories and shows that in every profession strange things will happen that stand out in your mind and can be retold later. Included are photos as examples of his work. I think he enjoyed what he did over the years and he practiced his craft without taking advantage of his clients financially.* I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    2. Who knew photographing weddings could have funny stories , sad stories and lawsuits? A quick interesting read with nice photographs. Fun for snowed in adventures.

    3. What does the author think of his book? WOW! What a learning experience! I've waited until now, several months after I thought I had finished writing my book, before deciding to write this review; if you can call this a review. I'd like to pass on to you what this book has taught me, as an author.I listened to my reviewers and used their feedback on three different occasions to make my book, as it stands now, so much better than it was a few short months ago. First feedback was that I should hav [...]

    4. I had high hopes for this particular book and was looking forward to getting a chance to read it but instead it was a bit of a let-down in my opinion. Most of the issues I saw within this book is perhaps since it is still in the process of being edited but there was also some room for the content itself. First of all I was disappointed with the photos included (this is suppose to be about a wedding photographer) - black and white I can work with but there were two pictures that had problems with [...]

    5. This wasn't a how to book about photography so if that is what you are looking for I would try Bill's other book. This is more of a memoir with tales of weddings over the years. There is a good variety of tales that are nicely split up so you can read the book over several sittings easily. The tales range from cute and sweet to shocking (sometimes wedding can be disturbing adventures) with plenty of laughs along the way. This isn't a coffee table photography book. There are photographs sprinkled [...]

    6. I was always curious about the wedding photographer, majority of the times a complete stranger who walks amidst invited guests and takes photos of an intimate occasion though his perspective. Bill Collins in this book did just that whilst giving a brief background of his own life and his career as a wedding photographer. He shares some of the hilarious incidents which remind of “You’ve been framed” moments and others which no bride would like to see, like a snake slithering up the chapel d [...]

    7. I was the editor for Wedding Photographer, and I give it five stars! If someone can still like a book enough to give it five stars after they have combed through each and every line of text, you can rest assured that it's a quality recommendation!Bill Collins manages to hit the right balance between information that reminds you he is a professional and understands the technical aspects of the job while still carrying the reader along on entertaining anecdotes. This book is such a breeze to read, [...]

    8. Life of a wedding photographerThis is a book about Mr Collins career as a wedding photographer. He gives us some wedding stories, his background, and How he managed his business. He also gives some tips for brides in picking a photographer. It is an easy read. It is written as if he is narrating . Also includes some photos and a link to see more of his work. Would recommend to others that are interested in photography. I would have rated 3 1/2 Stars but not an option.

    9. I won this book in a First Reads contest. It was a rather quick read and the photographer/author's memoirs of his job ass a wedding photographer. He relates stories from this years as a photographer, a few I could really relate to bad a photographer myself. My only complaint was the stories were related a bit simply but that added to the "quick read". It is a very specific book that is good for people who know about being a professional photographer.

    10. A hilarious look into the career of a wedding photographer. Some of the most memorable weddings he worked, and situations he found himself in. Very entertaining.
