    1. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE January 30, 2015By Shirley McInnisFormat:Kindle Edition|Verified PurchaseI read book 2 and I thought "I know where this is going". I was greatly surprised when I read book 3 and found out that I was wrong. I enjoyed the book which held quite a few surprises and had a lot of twist and turns. I'ts a very good read and I can't wait to read book 4.

    2. I started reading this series because of the diversity and it has not been disappointing. The writing has matured and the characters in each clan are well developed. The close relationship between Kang and his cousin, Huan-yue is enhanced by the intensity of her twin, Xing. 5. I enjoyed book 3 and am a fan of the series. Supernatural powers are flashy and exciting but the novels strength is the character development. Good depth on the different clans and cultures creates a richness that will appeal to readers that like multi book stories. Story proceeds in an orderly fashion but I was surprised more than once. I am looking forward to the next book.
