Intervention in Sri Lanka: The IPKF Experience is his answer to the blame he has received for his role in the failure of the Indian Peacekeeping Force that was deployed to Sri Lanka in 1987 in order to enforce a peace accord between the Sri Lankan government and several Tamil guerilla groups that were at war with the government.
