    1. also posted on my blog sarahsbookaddiction.wordpress4/5 starsI received an e-ARC of Blood Recruit for review and I genuinely loved it. Blood Recruit follows the story of Cohen Donahue, who following the footsteps of his father, has joined the police force. Upon joining the force, mysterious occurrences begin happening to Cohen. Throughout this novel, the suspense is kept up through it all and I was immediately hooked after the first couple of pages. There is not one dull moment in this book, and [...]

    2. Cohn Donahue grew up knowing his mom hated and didn't know why she was so mean, but his dad Peter loved him enough to not matter about his mom. They were like fire and water, and argued constantly. At eighteen he was off to college but their friend, Bre said his dad had been shot and Cohen put off his journey to college and raced to his dad's side. Cohen, a young rookie police officer, college graduate is just getting his feet wet in his new job. I was interested, but not completely hooked in the story through about the first half of the book. As the story got more intriguing and the suspense feel of the book increased I didn't want to put the book down. Cohen struggles with a lot of inner dialogue [...]

    4. Didn't really like itAt times it was suspenseful, and did have have twists I didn't see coming; but so much of the book had undeveloped characters as well as being unrealistic. I do think that the author has talent and as she continues to write will get better and better.
