    1. Broderick's story--in print, e- and audio!  NookiBooks KoboAREGoogleWolf Shifter Broderick is stuck looking after some Collar-less Shifters who are driving him crazy, but he’s putting up with them for Joanne, the human woman he, for some reason, wants to impress. When Broderick is captured, mistaken for a Guardian, Joanne Greene, a programmer who’s attracted to the very earthy Broderick, figures out that the Guardian Network, thought un-unhackable, is now in danger, and all the Shifters’ [...]

    2. Read the first books in the series before attempting this onea) I'm trying something newb) I may never do this again, or I may be inconsistent, but there you have it. Confession over. So I love it when someone gives me a checklist before they get to the meat of their review. So, I thought, what the hell, I can do that, sorta. This is me doing that. See #a. Setting / Time / Genre: Contemporary with a twist, fae stuff is real, shifters are out. ParanormalLength: (hehehe, yea, I'm a teenage boy in [...]

    3. This is the story of Broderick and Joanne. Joanne in previous books, in order to save her sister, acted against shifters.Broderick is a hard-ass lupine, a loud talker and a tough fighter but seriously lonely. He had stand up for Joanne, when all the other shifters hated her.In this book someone is after the guardian's network and Broderick is kidnapped mistaken for a guardian. He will manage to escape and Joanne as a programmer with hucker skills will help him to solve the mystery of a dead gurd [...]

    4. I had to think about what I wanted to say about Broderick. I didn't have a very good grasp of him as a character and didn't feel the romance between him and Jo-jo, because he wasn't saying my mate from the very first. Because usually our shifters males are right up front with that. But until Tiger said that Jo-jo was his mate, he was saying just friends in his head and so was Jo. Then boom the frenzy was on. I had a warm and fuzzy with them as a couple in the end, but it took me a while to get t [...]

    5. 3.5 Stars. A little different story for this series. The first part was a draggy and kind of Shifter 101; but newer readers needed the basic shifter info, I guess. The fae background and the lore of the Guardians hasn't been too deeply mined in this series, so this kind of story was a welcome change of pace. Oh, and Ashley avoided the insta-mate here. That was a nice touch. It's good to know that this far into the series she can switch gears and produce a fresh look into the world.

    6. This one was so much fun to read! I liked how Broderick kept fighting his feelings for Joanne, how he didn't want to go to fast with her, how he wanted to protect her. Too bad she was having none of it. As much fun and it was to see Broderick and Joanne argue back and forth, it was better to see Broderick do the same with his band of shifter brothers, especially Tiger. Tiger's frank way of talking and "knowing" really seemed to freak Broderick out.I liked that Broderick and Joanne did what they [...]

    7. We've waited awhile for Broderick's story, and it was well worth the wait. This is still one of the best Shifter series out there.

    8. ~ 5 Bad Wolf Stars ~Bad Wolf is a novella #7.5 in the Shifters Unbound series by Jennifer Ashley. I love this series especially the novella’s. The novella’s give us such a wonderful taste of Ms. Ashley’s writing and the world of the Shifters Unbound. Broderick is a wolf shifter. We learn a little more about him. If you have read some of the earlier novellas and books then you will notice that Broderick comes of as a dick, but here we get to see his vulnerable side as well as getting an und [...]

    9. 2.5 StarsAfter a mistaken kidnapping, wolf shifter Broderick learns someone is after a Guardian. Despite his loud protests, his human computer whiz girlfriend Joanne gets involved and uncovers a murder and a plan to hack into the Guardian Network. Broderick will have to resist the instinct to hide Joanne away and work with her to stop the breach that could have consequences that will reach beyond the human realm.Everything about this novella is just okay. Broderick surprised many when he took Jo [...]

    10. Broderick is trying to resist the tempting human but she´s just so interesting, he can´t stay away. When he´s abducted and needs a pickup, she´s his first call. Joanne never thought that searching for her vanished sister would end her smack in the middle of Shifter business, but the gorgeous Broderick makes it all worth it. When he´s abducted and they need help with the computers Joanne steps up. Quick read, fast paced in-between novel, with suspense, action and smutty fluff in a great comb [...]

    11. 3.5 stars - Review to come, but I liked it I like the way that the characters that were not exactly bad but antagonistic to the leads in previous books make great leads once you get to see behind all of the attitude. Ashley does a great job with her shorts, and even this many books into the series still leaves me wanting more of her shifters.

    12. Great Novella with Sexy Shifter and Lots of Cameos"It was hard to protect a woman who went charging ahead before Broderick could check that the way was safe."THE STORY: Broderick McNaughton is a wolf shifter who lives in the Austin Shiftertown. Readers of the Shifters Unbound series will know that the shifters are treated as second class citizens, forced to live in designated town with few rights. They are magical creatures having been created by their enemies the Fae to be entertainment and wea [...]

    14. 3.5 starsBad Wolf is the story of Broderick, one of the Wolf fighters of Austin Shiftertown and Joanne Green, the human woman whom first appeared in Feral Heat; at that time Joanne's sister was missing and she accused the Shifters of kidnapping her. Joanne has been staying at Austin to be with her sister and her sister's mate who is on the verge of going Feral.Lately, Ashley's novellas in the Shifters Unbound series have become as important to the whole arc as the novels. So I tried to read abou [...]

    15. Broderick and Joanne. Another great read in an awesome series! Not really a stand alone as we meet Joanne in the previous two books. Joanne and Broderick have history, but alls good now. He is drawn to her but resists because he worries that she will turn him down or worse turn him away after his mating instincts have already kicked in. He's not a man-ho, so no worries there. In fact, he isn't attracted to anyone else but her. Joanne is attracted to him too, but still feels bad about the way the [...]

    16. I had forgotten about this series. I loved book one, but the other two I read left me cold. I'm rethinking my reading habit :D

    17. Here I am reviewing another book by Jennifer Ashley so close to the other one. On Monday I read Lion Eyes. Here's why, I read them out of order and already had Bad Wolf down in my calendar as this months reading challenge. I so hate crossing things out. Ha! All the means is that you get to join me in my love for the Shiftes Unbound Series. I do love them. The characters and story is very well written. You can't help finding yourself lost once you start reading them. There is so many layers to th [...]

    18. Every time I read one of these books I have two diametrically opposed thoughts that go through my head: (a) I should really read this series in order to get the full impact of each pairing and, (b) screw that, I should really just go balls to the wall and read whatever I can get my hands on in whatever order they come to me. I am a confused individual when it comes to these shifters, it would seem. But enough about me. Let's talk about Broderick and Joanne. They're kinda cluelessly cute the way t [...]

    19. As alwaysIM NEVER dissatisfied with Jennifer's work.I'm been wanting Brod's book for a while, and finally got it!!Read it in one day, and I wish it just kept going.e you know I'm greedy like that lolI wish there was more Romance and communication between him and JoJo thoughIs it just me or does it kind of look like Brod's personality did a complete 180°? I mean where's my Badass, mouthy, has to pick a fight with everyone, got stick stuck up his ass Brod? (personally I really liked that version [...]

    20. Snooze-a-palooza.I have a grievance with this series, and it's Jennifer Ashley's obsession with babies.Pretty much every. goddamn. book (and I'm about 90% sure it's literally EVERY book, I'm just too lazy to check) ends with the heroine pregnant.I don't like kids. And I subscribe to that crazy belief that women DON'T need a spouse and kids to be happy. *gasps* And yeah, sure, I understand that the Shifters want to procreate to 'further their line' and whatnot. But it just really drives me up the [...]

    21. 2.5 starsI was not a fan of this story like I was with the other books in this series. The last few have left something to be desired. Joanne and Broderick had already met, already knew each other, and were already dating. The meeting and courtship is half the fun of a book, and this story lacks that. So this was not as good, not a lot of romancewhich took the back seat. It was more adventures/investigationying to figure stuff out. There was no chemistry. Broderick is supposed to be an alpha, but [...]

    22. Broderick was one of the characters that was not that liked or likable but there was something about him that screamed "nice guy".He met Joanne when she caused problems to all shifters. There was a hint for a possible mating when he defended her and I wondered how all will pen out.Broderick was sexy, fun and carrying. I liked him from beginning. It was sad to see that with his parent's death he stopped believing in a true mating and he lost his way. He didn't think that being a tracker for Liam [...]

    23. 3.5 Stars but I'll round up to 4 Stars because I like this series. This book centers around Joanne and Broderick who we have met in previous books. However, this book can be read as a stand alone. In fact that was one of the reasons this book is only 3.5 stars for me. There was a ton of repetition of information on the shifters/their towns/relationships from the series that was repeated in this book. The second reason is that there really wasn't much romance. They are sort of established as girl [...]

    24. I didn't think I would really like Broderick ever, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love that behind his apparent a'hole persona lurkes an artist of sorts. He even kept that info from his "girlfriend". Joanne was a fun heroine to read about. Broderick, as is typical of all shifters in this series, fails to express himself to his human gf thereby leaving her confused etc. A rather interesting turn of events sets in motion the story and their relationship develops from there. I like how Ms. A [...]

    25. Great story line bringing in the fae, humans and shifters. Lots of action and world building. Love when the big bads figure out they have a true mate! Great to catch up with the other trackers as well. This edition brings the plot line in tighter ready for us to meet the feral group of shifters. Looking forward to that story coming soon!

    26. I enjoyed this book. I'm glad that Broderick was not the new Guardian for that other shifter town, because I didn't want him to have to leave his family. Also, I love any scene with Tiger in it. He's a favorite! I can't wait to see him with his new cub! It was a nice, short installment in the series.

    27. Broderick's story was no disappointment, his character remained true to the way he was originally introduced into the Shifters Unbound series, gruff.Glad to see there was no "softening" to his no hold barred attitude

    28. I enjoyed it tho it was only 145 pgs! Good reading! Boderick and Joanne are mated, the Guardian was sent to the Goddess and Bree's brother was found!
