    1. Forever and Always is the third and most latest release….I am not sure if this is just a trilogy or if there will be more books. You never know with Leigh Greenwood. Now Forever and Always is probably my favorite book of the series…which is saying quite a bit since I couldn’t put down the previous two books. In this story we have Logan Holstock and Libby Spencer. Logan is the last of the three brothers and he has come out west to find them. Logan is dying from what his doctor tells him, an [...]

    2. He's only got a few months to live. Logan Holstock realizes what is truly important to him. He heads west to find the brothers he was separated from when their parents died on the Santa Fe Trail and leaves behind a cold-blooded fiancee', a wealthy life of the Chicago elite, and the business he built to success beside his adopted father. Meaningless now. But in searching for his family, he finds so much more and he regrets more than ever the fact that he'll be gone soon.Sybil Spencer has lived wi [...]

    3. Ever since Logan Holstock, aka Elliot Lowe, wealthy Chicago businessman discovered that he only has a few months to live due to a mysterious illness, he leaves his life in the city behind and travels to the small Western town of Cactus Corner to seek out his long lost brothers and prepare for the end. Logan pitches a tent out in the wild and begins his stay. While is town, he happens upon a bank robbery and puts the robbers down. Sibyl Spencer becomes a widow the day that she meets the hero stra [...]

    4. I received an eARC of the book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.I requested to review this book majorly because it was a throwback to the romances I had started in my teens (you know the western romances by Judith McNaught, etc!) and how much I missed those simpler romances! So boy was I glad that I actually found this book on NetGalley – it was so good to go back to the simpler times of romance, where the lives and the wishes of the characters are so simple that it almost feels [...]

    5. I do like to write about the books I read to think about the story itself and how it made me feel before going into another adventure.I've had this book at home, in my TBR pile, since the Summer of 2016 and I finally got my hands on it. I'm thankful to have had the time to enjoy it thoroughly. The characters really grow in us throughout the book. I didn't read the other two of the series but I felt the love that already existed in Sibyl's family. We don't see many books like this: the hero is no [...]

    6. Forever and Always is another amazing historical fiction set in the wild west by Leigh Greenwood . It is also the thrilling conclusion to the Cactus Creek Cowboys series. Logan Holstock is a rich Chicago business man who has just received a diagnosis no one wants to hear. Logan, with the little time he has left, is on a journey to find his two brothers. They were separated when their parents died on the Santa Fe Trail. This journey will lead him to Cactus Creek, Arizona. What Logan doesn't expec [...]

    7. I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley for an honest review.Leigh Greenwood is one of my favorite historical romance authors. His books are always masterfully written. I love his cowboys in the books. I always listened to the stories my Grandfather told me when he was growing up and about his horse that he had. My Great-Grandmother would tell me about coming here in a covered wagon, and that era just always fascinated me. Reading one of Mr. Greenwood's westerns always brings that back to m [...]

    8. Leigh Greenwood’s latest “Cactus Creek” novel, Forever and Always, the reader is allowed a first row seat to the reunion of the Holstock bothers that were featured in Mr. Greenwood’s previous novels. Elliot Lowe. a wealthy Chicago business, was handed a death sentence by his doctor that left him with just a few months to live. Eliot decides that he must find his brothers that he had been separated from years ago along the Santa Fe Trail, so he changes his name back to the name that was g [...]

    9. This is book 3 in the Cactus Creek Cowboys series. When Logan Holstock learns that he just has months to live, he ventures to Cactus Creek in hopes of finding his long lost brothers. He didn't count on finding a lovely widow that would make him wish he had more time on this earth.Sibyl Spencer's husband has just passed away and she has inherited a bank that she doesn't know how to run. When the stranger that stopped the bank robbery offers her help, she accepts. But spending time together leads t [...]

    10. So I found out something interesting about the author, after I read the story. It's a dude! To say I was shocked is an understatement. I say shocked because I actually liked this story. I liked everything about it even the whole 'dying' story line. That part was actually quite legitimate and if you can put yourself in the time and place of these characters, I have a strong feeling that you would too. This is the 3rd story in the Cactus Creek Cowboys series and although I didn't read the first 2 t [...]

    11. Bridgette had been engaged to Logan. Bridgette and Dr. James Pittman had been poisoning Logan - slowly- and since Logan believed he was going to die he was a quest to find at least one of his two brothers which meant Brigette would not get all his money when he died[ Brigette was his cousin even though he was going to marry her]. Logan even publically released Brigette from the engagement through the newspaper. Dr. Pittman suggested Brigette hire a man - a Pinkerton- to find Logan. Logan was on [...]

    12. Wow, this story starts out with a bang right at the start. I liked that, it made me look forward to the rest of the book. And it turned out to be a book I really enjoyed reading. Great main characters and a good interesting secondary people in the story. Good twists and turns and some truly selfish villains. But a lot of the action happens in a town full of people who had good hearts. It was a community of family (many of them were family) but they also welcomed people into their family like com [...]

    13. 4.5 StarsSexual Content: Subtle Violent Content: Mild/ModerateLanguage (Profanity/Slang) Content: None I’ve always loved Leigh Greenwood’s books and Forever and Always is no exception. He can tell a fantastic story with lots of romance mixing it with a bit of mystery and intrigue and bring the characters to life, wishing you could meet them! It’s enjoyable to see how Mr. Greenwood mixes inspired personalities and the old west setting, which is my favorite genre. Temperaments in his characte [...]

    14. Old fashioned Western romance that takes the reader back in time to Arizona in the 1870’s. In this book there is a greedy soulless woman, a man who believes he is dying and hopes to locate brothers he was separated from in childhood, a woman suddenly widowed who finds herself in charge of a business, a Pinkerton agent, bad guys and good ones, and a town full of interesting people who are very close to one another. There is a dog named Trusty, children that make appearances, cousins who support [...]

    15. This story totally captivated me from the beginning until the very sweet ending. Logan found out he had months to live and decide to break his engagement and leave Chicago to go search for his younger brothers. He knew where to look so helmet for the Arizona territory and the town of Cactus corner. Logan comes to town and ends up in the middle of a bank robbery and saves Sybil Spencer. Logan really started to live his life without worries when he realized he was dying. He also experienced love f [...]

    16. I have not read the other two books in the trilogy and this was my first one. In fact, this was my first book ever by this author and I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I loved the book! Forever and Always is a wonderful historical romance set in a tiny new Western town called Cactus Corner. Logan Holstock believes he is very sick and is expecting to die which sets him off to find his long lost brothers. But its not only his brothers that he finds, but amazing love as well. I loved all of the [...]

    17. I won a copy of Forever and Always from the Author, and am very appreciative. I had not read anything by this author before but love a good romance and this was a wonderful story of Logan who mistaken thinks he just has months to live, and Sibyl a fresh widow trying to find her way. This was a lengthy novel that unfolded in good order with lots of beautiful backdrop for the story, and characters that you could relate to with a happily ever after the reader needed from the onset. I found that the [...]

    18. The final novel of the Cactus Creek series, while fascinating as a historical, falls far short in the romance department. Still, it's heartwarming that the brothers reunited and found their lady loves who happen to be cousins, too! You will find plenty of entertaining adventure within these pages. I was really excited to recognize Verde Valley, AZ as the setting of this series. The fort mentioned resides in Camp Verde and is now a fascinating museum for history enthusiasts. I may not be enthrall [...]

    19. I have read a lot of Leigh Greenwood's books & they have always been very good. This story kept me intrigued. I kept waiting for the answer to Logan's past & how he became the way he did. I can't say much more or it would be the ending away. But for a man who thought he was dying with only a dog he named Trusty by his side, he ended up with the ending he deserved & also the woman who was just too greedy for her good. Can't wait for another great story.

    20. 4 STARSThis was my favorite of the three books in this series and a superb conclusion to the Holstock brother's story. I listened to all three books on audio and the narrator did a fabulous job. I have issues at times with females narrators reading male POV's and vice versa, but I was completely absorbed into this novel and wasn't phased by the female narration.

    21. Logan was a great, selfless guy. It drove me nuts that it took everyone so long to figure out why he was sick. Every time it was mentioned i felt like reaching into the book and throttling everyone. Other than that, i enjoyed this old west romance.

    22. 3rd brother's story is greatThe story started off. In an unusually attention mystery. Action was good, dog was a nice touch for a last minute hero. The families were heart warning.

    23. I enjoyed this book very much. I was transported back in time. Wonderful characters and storyline. This was book three in the series, I have not read the previous two but did not feel confused at all.

    24. This book was interesting, but what I found really interesting was that it was written by a man. Logan and Sibyl had a connection and even though his face was swollen she had feelings for him. This is first book read by Leigh Greenwood but it will not be the last.
