    1. I have been reading this story, calling it a book is so beneath it, for 6 days.I can finish most books in a day, day and a halfbut, because it was 12 stories in one, and drove me to other stories for reference, it took me more timewith that said, I absolutely could not put it down. I read on my phone so every minute not working, driving, or taking care of my home/kids, was devoted to this story. While this is categorized as teen/young adult fiction, even the most seasoned reader can enjoy this t [...]

    2. One word: AWESOMEIt's not just a retelling of the Brothers Grimm Fairy tales. The authors made it more than that. They created a universe revolving around their stories in a modern setting, filled with adventure and a whole lot of kick-butt action. To read the full review, click here

    3. I really enjoyed this YA urban fantasy series (12 books total, I think—1,823 pgs in all). The main character is great. The premise, although in itself perhaps not unique, had some really clever elements I haven't come across before. The writing is not perfect. Sometimes there were some clunky sentences, repeated phrases, and I really really really didn't want to read "gawd" one more time But all in all I'm glad I read it and I'll read more by Brosky.

    4. What an interesting premise and engaging characters. I got a little bored trying to read the whole series in one go, but on the whole, each installment was thoroughly enjoyable!

    5. I just loved fractured fairy tale books but finding one that are good is pretty hard. The first story was so so, didn't really enjoy it but glad that I gave it a try. In the first book, the MC was typical YA protagonist, nothing really special about her. What I dislike was how MC keeps on talking about her "prefect" boyfriend. It was really annoying but I really liked the twist (view spoiler)[ Edward was prince charming and he was a blood sucking monster(hide spoiler)]. I really hated the author [...]

    6. I didn't mind the first book but then midway or so into the second one I just couldn't continue with it. Alice started to grate on my nerves (Gawd!). I didn't feel that her character grew or took the situation seriously in a believable way. Kudos to the authors for wanting to make her intelligent and a typical teenage, but I think they tried too hard to do this and it all felt stilted. Also the detail oh the detail, every little move including going to the bathroom is documented and me being a " [...]

    7. Couldn't get through it Great concept but poor execution for me. This is definitely a YA book for younger readers despite some of the adult themes. The characters are immature and shallow and I couldn't get into it. Got about 6 chapters in and decided that I couldn't waste any more time. I would recommend the Splintered series by AG Howard over this one.

    8. 3.5 stars. What I liked about it was that it was over 1500 pages. 😀. Enough to keep me busy for about a week. Not strenuous to read, obviously Young adult and geared towards that readership but all in all, I really enjoyed it.

    9. ExcitingDid you ever wonder what happened to snow white, the dwarfs and all the other cool characters in Grimms Fairy Tales. This is the book for you. It was hard to put down. I kept wondering what was next and how Alice was going to get out of this mess

    10. This was a fantastic series to read. From start to finish, I loved the blend of fantasy and real life. The character development was spot on. Also, I love the twist that showed how good or bad the characters could be.

    11. I LOVED this series. It's a fun take on the familiar (and not-so-familiar) Grimms Brothers' fairy tale characters with a relatable heroine that I enjoyed rooting for. If you're a fan of twisted fairy tales and/or strong female leads, you'll love this series too!

    12. 10 book series. Fantastic series that puts a current twist on the classic fairytales. Series even includes the original Grimm fairytale that the stories that align with the corrupted characters. A definite read for Grimm fairytale fans.

    13. Brothers GrimmI enjoyed the book, along with the stories from the Brothers Grimm. It went much deeper than just the original stories.

    14. Good readI enjoyed these stories very much and would recommend it highly. It brought back my love of fairy tales .

    15. Love itSpoiler alert!!!! I was sad that seth dies. How could you kill him i get it but is not the happing ending i was expecting. Anyway read you may like it.

    16. CorruptedQuite a fun read about the Corrupted of the Grimm tales. Loved the ending! Go Juliette and Alice and all the other heroes!

    17. Had to DNF this as my Kindle Unlimited trial ran out and I was struggling to get into the story. Maybe in the future if I decide to purchase KU I'll try reading the book again.

    18. I received this book from Xpresso Reads in return for a fair and honest review.I honestly don't know where to start with this book as there are so many good points. I guess a good place to start with what you actually get with this book. This book contains all 12 episodes of the series, as well as the bonus "Lost diaries" of previous heroes and all of the collected Grimm's Fairy Tales so it makes for a very long and satisfying read. The best way I can describe this set of books is to tell you to [...]

    19. Wow, what a series! I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed reading this collection of short books. It involved one of my absolute favorite things to read aboutfairytales! And, while I wouldn't exactly call this a "fairytale retelling", it throws you into the world of fairytales-gone-wrong.I'm going to attempt to write this review without giving away any of the story plats and what not because I hate to give away too much for new readers. The story revolves around a girl, named Alice, who is the hero [...]

    20. This is such a cool book. It's a book of all 12 short stories based in this series. I loved it. Each story is short enough to read quickly in one sitting, and yet still feels like a full book. plus I loved the Grimm brothers and their fairytales. Oh sometimes it's more like nightmares, but sometimes words are semantics LOL :) And the modern day Grimm brother, or should I say, heroine, as Alice is a teenage girl, who has to find a way to save the world one fairytale at a time. :) Alice is a fanta [...]

    21. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. In the past I had seen great reviews for the books in this series but I could never bring myself to read them. As a rule I almost never read novellas or serials because I always feel like I need more meat from the stories or I don't get drawn in. Now the authors have solved that issue for me by packing all the stories in to one book. I loved the twists that they make on the classic Grimm's tales are so ingenious and ensures a never ending s [...]

    22. I absolutely LOVED this story set. So many of the Grimm's characters come in and most are not what you expect. Many of the obscure characters come in as well which is wonderful! Alice is a great, although reluctant, hero and a realistic protagonist. A modern heroine who is logical and intelligent and still manages to maintain her feminine side. Her best pal and sidekick Briar Rabbit, although not in the Grimm's tales, is one of the best characters in this tale. It's magical, funny, romantic, swa [...]

    23. I really enjoyed this one. It was a page turner, filled with action. The last couple of stories needed better editing to correct sentence structure, fill in missing words and correct the tense of some words. Otherwise it was okay. I found it most enjoyable and difficult to put down. It isn't often that I sink my teeth in a 1,000 page book but this one was most satisfying.

    24. Wonderful storyVery enjoyable twist on the old tales. I highly recommend these stories to all ages. Can't wait to read more by this author.
