    1. Be My Valentino by Sandra Dricker is book two in the Jesse Stanton series. I had not read book one and feel I would have enjoyed book two better if I had. Jesse’s ex arrives and more of his double life is exposed; like the fact they were never legally married. She is being questioned by the FBI about the case against him. Although I am not into the latest fashions, it was fun to see Jesse run Adornments, her rental store for designer clothing. Danny is a private investigator and in book one he [...]

    2. I adored Be My Valentino! Sandra Bricker has such a knack for dialogue that I felt as if I were “watching" a movie. And I fell in love with her characters—Grampy especially is charming! The epilogue is perfect (as is the sneak peek at the next book). Sandra Bricker has a new fan and I can’t wait for the next Jessie Stanton novel!

    3. When your missing husband (who is very probably not your husband at all) is back in your life with FBI on his neck, what will you do?The troubles are back in Jessie Stanton’s - no, Jessie Hart’s - life. As her business is growing, the opportunities arise - and fall down, too. Her fake husband Jack is back, with the FBI. And the insecurities growFortunately, her friends, boyfriend Danny, Grampy and God are having her back. The same story, less sizzle. But this is probably me, as I have loved t [...]

    4. Sandra Bricker’s newest installment of the Jessie Stanton series, “Be My Valentino”, picks up where “On a Ring and a Prayer” left off. Jessie’s husband, Jack, has been arrested and the double life he’s been living has been exposed. Learning that, after 12 years together, he hadn’t bothered to divorce his first wife, Jessie bids him good riddance. She has her business, “Adornments” to provide an income and she has her blossoming relationship with PI Danny Callahan. She also ha [...]

    5. Be My Valentino – Sandra Bricker (4.5 Stars)Be My Valentino continues the story of Jessie Stanton, first introduced in Ms. Bricker’s On a Ring and a Prayer. After surviving the initial upheaval of discovering her husband’s double life, Jessie finds herself with a new life and a successful clothing rental store, Adornments. Gradually, Jessie makes her mark on Hollywood fashion with the help of some of her new-found friends and an unexpected opportunity to feature her new men’s clothing se [...]

    6. New starts are never easy; there are lots of bumps in the road that get you to new starts and new chapters, as we quickly learned in book number one. Sometimes after you pick your self off you get knocked down again atleast thats how Jessie is feeling or so it seems. She seems to have everything right where she wants for now and is ready to move towards the future, when her ex husband Jack drops into her world ready to have his say and has not problem who he steps on to get there. Danny is reall [...]

    7. ARC/Christian Contemporary Fiction: This is book two in an ARC series. I am really liking this series, but as I said in my review of book 1 that I think the cover and description make you think that there is more comedy, and there isn’t. I really want funny banter. Like the first book, the book jacket only tells you a little bit of the story. The event on the book jacket doesn’t even cover ten pages. This book ends with another cliffhanger of sorts. Jesse still hasn’t left the secular side [...]

    8. Now that the whole truth has come out about her husband’s double life—including the fact that she and Jack were never legally married—Jessie is standing on her own for the first time in her life. As she struggles to put Adornments, her rental store for designer labels, on the map in Tinsel Town, her relationship with private investigator Danny Callahan gains momentum. When she dresses a reluctant Danny in Valentino for undercover work at a formal affair, it’s him rather than her store th [...]

    9. This second book in the Jessie Stanton series finds Jessie and Danny developing their relationship, the Feebs taking liberties with Jessie's new life, Jack Stanton getting a little bit of what he deserves. You'll also find yummy shopping, fancy clothes wearing, and charming dates. I enjoyed this book - love the characters, the detective work and the faith aspect. I'm ambivalent about Danny. He seems too good to be true. I guess I expect that in a straight up romance, but not in a mystery series, [...]

    10. “Be My Valentino” by Sandra Dricker is book two in the Jesse Stanton series. Having not read book, I thing I had some missing pieces, but none that this book left out, but I definitely think it would have helped. This book has a mystery component with investigation that is very intriguing and will have you turning the pages. An ex arrives and we find out that a legal marriage never existed. Jesse is a fashion diva who runs a store called “Adornments” with high designer labels. Danny is a [...]

    11. 3.5 starsThe second book of Bricker’s Jessie Stanton series deepens the relationships and furthers the storyline in a realistic, believable way. At times, Danny seems almost too good to be true, but that makes the romance more sigh worthy, and will make readers anxiously look forward to the next installment. After realizing that she wasn’t truly married to Jack all those years, Jessie is anxious to move forward with her life — but Jack shows up yet again. Embroiled in a legal battle involvi [...]

    12. How does she keep doing this? Sandra D. Bricker has truly done it again. You begin reading the book, and can not put it down! Even though this is part two in a three part series, it holds its own and doesn't feel like filler. Jessie Stanton is back and still trying to figure out who she is. There are some amazing characters that have been very well developed and feel like long lost friends. Danny & Grampy are back and help along the journey. We definitely learn more about these loveable char [...]

    13. From the first pages, I knew this was going to be as good if not better than the first. Be My Valentino is heart warming, thrilling, and comforting all at the same time. It's a page turner. This is the second in the trilogy but it escapes the normal dialogue about the second in a trilogy. You won't read this and say it was just a bridge between two books. I was blown away by just how well the original story was developed while also having independent storylines. All of the characters you loved f [...]

    14. Disclosure: I received an ARC copy of this book free of charge from the publisher, but this review consists of my honest opinions, not influenced in any way the the author or the publisher. Be My Valentino picks up right where On A Ring and A Prayer left off. This, the second book in the Jessie Stanton trilogy takes us back into the unpredictable life of Jessie Stanton. In book two, we start to see how Grampy's narrative fleshes out how Jessie became the woman that she is.We see Jessie stand up t [...]

    15. I have loved every book by Sandra. I have read every single one except for two of them, Love Finds you in Carmel by the Sea and Love Finds You in Snowball Arkansas. I have them both on my TBR list. I fell in love with the Jessie Stanton series from about page 3 of the first book. The second book is full of twists and turns. Several places I laughed so hard my stomach ached. There are some tearful moments in this one so have your Kleenex handy. The characters work so well together. I am on pins a [...]

    16. Disclosure - I received an advanced copy of this book for review. I have always enjoyed Ms. Bricker's books and this one doesn't disappoint. BE MY Valentino is the second book in the Jessie Stanton Series and picks up where On a Ring and a Prayer ended. The dialogue is once again smart, funny and entertaining while woven throughout a story line that grabs the reader. I love that Jessie is a fashionista and the descriptions of the fashions made me wish the book had photos. The author is a wonderf [...]

    17. I had the first book in this series, On A Ring And A Prayer in my to read basket for months before getting around to it. I couldn't read it fast enough and the moment I finished, I immediately bought this one to read right away. I loved every single minute of it! I've already finished number three, but have to do reviews separately. There is something so incredibly precious about the relationship between Danny Callahan and Jessie Stanton. It's like God made them for each other. And He did! Danny [...]

    18. Love Sandra Bricker’s second installment to her Jessie Stanton Novel Series. Thinking the worst is behind, Jessie continues to face unexpected and overwhelming challenges from her marriage to Jack. Great life lessons are gleaned throughout the story. The prayers and love and wisdom from her grandfather that molded her as a child continue into her present. Jessie’s cherished friendships, old and new support her through the turbulent times and she begins to trust again. Love Sandra Bricker’s [...]

    19. In this book we watch Jessie grow. Now that she has her business going and her relationship with Danny is deepening, she stretches her wings to add business contacts, ideas, and even helps others with their future plans. Danny is asked to investigate leaks at the FiFis and Jesse gets to go as his date, but she dresses him up REAL well and he gets noticed like he is a star! I like the conversations from Jessie's Grampa as they give us more insight into Jessie and how someone praying in the backgr [...]

    20. This second book in the series was not only fun to read, but Sandra Bricker makes her characters easy to relate to and realistic. I always enjoy Ms. Bricker's series and this one does not disappoint. Jessie Stanton and her crew are so fun to read about. The fashion lovers will enjoy the style that is woven throughout the book. I also enjoyed the mystery aspect and thought it was interesting how Jessie finds herself so often at the right place at the right time. I am looking forward to the next b [...]

    21. I loved reading more of the stories of the relatable characters we found in book #1: Jessie, Danny, Riggs, Grampy, and Courtney among others! This book was action packed with twists and turns I didn't see coming, and kept me reading long past the time I should have stopped! The descriptions, as with any book by Sandra, were fabulous and brought the story to life. Be My Valentino did an excellent job portraying Sandra's writing style: Live-Out-Loud Fiction. *I received a copy of this book to read [...]

    22. received an advanced copy of the book for review. Sandie does i 1 minute agomojo6I received an advanced copy of the book for review. Sandie does it again! She takes you on the rollercoaster ride of Jessi's life with all the twists and turns and ups and downs. And then she takes you to the highest peak and leaves you suspended at the top in breathless anticipation wondering what happens next.ay tuned!

    23. Like many "book 2 in a series" books, this one serves as a bridge between the intro (which is summarized in the book, so I don't feel like I've missed a whole lot), and the third book to wrap upe like many other book #2s, this one ends with a cliffhanger.I'd love to give it more stars, but it isn't as funny as Bricker's other books that I have enjoyed more. Maybe I'm just jaded against second-in-a-series books; I don't know. But I neither hated nor loved this book.

    24. Jessie's story continues. Her pseudo-ex-husband comes back to wreak more havoc in her life, and she continues to grow into a self-sufficient woman who is stronger than she realizes. I was completely engaged in this story and I was disappointed when it ended because I wanted to keep reading. I am really looking forward to the next book in this series. I was given a PDF copy of this book by the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

    25. Ms. Bricker does it again!Book after book, Sandra Bricker writes stories that make you laugh and cry and not want to put them down. I was so glad to see that Grampy was in book two also. I just love the way he represents Louisiana. This story is about how a woman can just pick herself up and dust herself off and begin again. Every woman has that strength within herself. Sometimes you just have to dig deep for it. I cannot wait for book three in this series.

    26. This book has everything a good romance book should have. You laugh, you cry, and you say "ahh" and fall in love with the characters and with love. This is a feel good book about life's downfalls and then life's pick up and get going again.Read this book and laugh and cry, and then go find a secondhand designer outlet.

    27. I have loved every book I have ever read of Sandy's and this is no different. Loved it. I thought I knew what was going to happen(because that is always what happens in books) and Sandy took a completely different road. I like being surprised. I loved the comedy as well, and cannot wait for next book
