    1. 3.75 stars It was alright I’m not going to read the third since well they are together already it’s the whole point to see what happens but we know they are together so I’m done. I really enjoyed the first book so much tension and sassiness loved it! This one blah super reminded me of twilight

    2. I thought this was a good sequel. It was nice that she got to spend time with her bestie Parker. It was nice that he finally knows the truth about her. I hope the last book is as good as the rest have been.

    3. First of all I'm so disappointed, I was expecting so much more than this. After the first book the expectations were really high, because the story line and characters were as well, but in this one, it seems like author was trying her best to make Zane the manliest and the strongest character of this story, and while I understand her motives, it did not work out, because Weil negated all the other characters, Piper included, while she was the main character of this story, she made her so small, [...]

    4. This book was a great sequel to the first book and picked up right where the previous book left off. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal romance. This was so different from what I have read and it was refreshing.Piper is in the process of grieving the loss of her grandmother who she really was just getting to know. Someone killed her and they are still out there Since her grandmothers death, she is prepping herself to fully become the White Raven on her 18th birthda [...]

    5. *Spoiler* A really good read! I almost didn't read the series from what some people said about Piper crying all the time but I didn't get that feeling at all. She had some people close to her die so yeah!!!.I think your going to cry. Anyway, loved the 2nd book even though Zander died at the end! I kind of understand why Weil wrote that in there but Piper would have found a way out. She already denounced the stupid "agreement" before Zander died. I really like Zander so it really made me sad/mad [...]

    6. Holy. Freaking. HellWow! That was awesome! I do have to admit it's a little slow at times, but still it's worth while. I was thoroughly engaged from beginning to end! Just when piper thinks she has everything figured out, her world crumbles. She sets Her brother T.J in the path to safety on my to have her best friend show up. Another person she cares about in danger. But if there's one person who can accept her new role in life it's Parker. He definitely gets an eye and an ear full of the supern [...]

    7. I still don't like Zane. He's better in this book than in the other, and at least we know why he was a dick in the first book, but I still don't like him. His brother, in a lot of ways, would be a much better candidate, as he's nicer and actually seems to respect Piper in ways she'll never appreciate. I don't like the sudden appearance of a possible love triangle/square thing. Especially when the new branch comes from her best friend. No. No. No. Just no. Stop it. There doesn't need to be a love [...]

    8. It got worse I hope someone grabs these books and rewrite them without all of Piper’s sarcastic comments in the most inappropriate times. Who says things like “Holy banana pants” in near death situations. Seriously, these books could be so much more enjoyable if it didn’t seem as though a 10 year old wrote half of it. 17 and 18 year olds don’t talk like that. Her character needs more maturing. Once again, so much is being left out. More explanation of the connection with Piper and Zane [...]

    9. I liked this book much better than the first one. The characters were fleshed out better and I actually felt for them. Piper is still a little quick to flip her mood switches though. I'm not a fan of the love triangle dynamic, so I really thought adding a third guy to the mix was a bit much - and then he switches to someone new pretty quick too. One character, without spoilers, would have made a wonderful villain and I think an opportunity was lost that would have set this book/series into a who [...]

    10. This book was packed full of drama, suspense, the bickering between Zane and Piper, the googly eyes they constantly give each other, the wonderful banter they have, and the hot kisses. So many secrets were revealed in this book, some I never saw coming. Piper discovers more of her powers, someone comes to visit, both alive and dead. There is heartbreak, love, and sacrifice in this book and it made for some moments that the tears were falling, that I was laughing, I was swooning, and then yelling [...]

    11. Wow what an amazing book! Piper has to make a number of hard decisions in this book as she navigates her beginnings at the White Raven. Her chemistry with Zane increases as they have more time together and feelings are harder to resists. I really enjoyed getting to know Zander and Parker more in this book. Piper's powers are amazing and the experiences she goes through to learn about her different powers are nail biting and hot (when Zane's involved). I look forward to the next book. Well done J [...]

    12. I'm so torn. I really wanted to like this and there were some aspects that I did, but I was getting really tired of the back and forth with Zane wanting her but not having her. Like it just seemed so mean after a while that he kept doing that to her knowing how much she wanted him. Too much back and forth for me. I don't think I'll be finishing up this series.

    13. Fantastic Read!I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and series. I can't wait to start the next book. To bad my break is over and I will have to wait four more hours to start it.

    14. Captivating Black Crow had me at the edge of my seat from the first page till the very last. A book wrought with laughter and tears. A great middle installment. Looking forward to the next one.

    15. Good read, still a little redundant with her constant mulling over of the situation she was in. But still interesting enough to read the next book. I enjoy the characters and feel they are consistent in their personalities and attitudes.

    16. WowIt's a great book and series for a ya book reader. I absolutely loved it. As soon as I started reading, I'm became immersed in the reaper world. I couldn't put the book down. This is another great book written by JL Weil. Thank you for you're amazing books.

    17. Loved it!The second book didn't let me down. Piper has serious choices to make. Once she doea, she'll never look back. Read on to see how what her choices are and how life unfolds for her and the rest of death.

    18. What is going on?Ok, the first book made so much more sense than this one. The rules changed and the actions of Piper does not match what she is thinking. idk. It’s just a confusing book now. I am not sure I will read the last one.

    19. Love itSo intriguing, fast moving.exciting exciting. A great fun read, page after page. Can't wait to read the next book ,yes!

    20. Good bookWell written and a good read. I like series in a book and this one of the best. I am now going to the last the last one.

    21. Great readI couldn't put this book down. Loved every love triangle and emotional upheaval. Thanks for a great series of books.

    22. Great read I enjoyed this book as much as the first. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. On to the next.

    23. Good readRead it in about 2 days. I really like the premise of the story, just wish not every guy was madly in love with the main character. With that being said I did enjoy it.

    24. Good storylineUnique and a good read. Didn't want to put it down. Can't wait for the next one.I really like this trilogy.

    25. Noooo!!It can't end like that!!!! That's really not fair! Whets the next one? Lol. A great series so far. A great author too.

    26. Great story line but the main character is portrayed as very young in a slightly unnatural way that seems to emphasize being a teenager. I would have loved this had the character been more natural

    27. This one was much better than the first, which I liked. Less teen’isms in this one making the plot flow better.
