    1. This poetry collection by Kimberly Floria, mostly written in free verse, is supercharged with emotion as she lays her soul bare with absolute honesty. She expresses all too well what it feels like for a woman to believe herself loved by a man, to then experience him transforming into an abusive monster. Despite the sense of betrayal expressed and the periods of self-destructive behaviour recounted, hope runs like a glistening silver thread through Kimberly's verses; the type of hope that would o [...]

    2. I have had the pleasure of following Kim on her blog, silentlyheardonce.wordpress, for several years now, and her emotions always resonate. This book is an amazing compilation of what life is all about. Some of the experiences are heart-wrenching, yet she pens them to perfectly grip the reader's emotions. Kim's book provokes tears, smiles, sighs, anger, and love. She writes of struggles many have endured; she writes of humanity, the good and the ugly. Her poems are raw; they are honest; they are [...]

I do have several favourites in this collection but am very impresse [...]

    4. The human experience that bonds all of us together is the glue that bonds this book together. Reading 'Whispers' is like taking a ride on a roller-coaster wearing a blindfold - you don't know what's coming until you turn the page and it hits you full on. Read it, savor it, even whisper it if you want to; it's worth the feeling.
