    1. From my book blog: publishedmomentsRoy Sullivan is an immigrations officer at Heathrow airport. He is struggling to make ends meet and slowly losing control of his life when his brother Jimmy goes missing in Iraq. Searching for answers, Roy has promised himself he will not rest until he finds out the truth behind his brothers death. Roy doesn't think his life can get much worse until he is targeted by a local criminal gang to abuse his position at Heathrow airport - something he has to do for th [...]

    2. This is a surprisingly good thriller from start to finish. The basic premise is frighteningly realistic, and provides a chilling background to the story of an ordinary man caught up in extraordinary problems. The writing matches anything from the masters. The characters involved are all real people with all the faults that people have. For the most part, everyone is a bad guy from some point of view. The novel's strength is in tracking the changes in relationships I can't wait for the movie!

    3. Really good.I enjoy a well developed story line, uninterrupted by miss spelling and poor grammar. This is a fine story and I'm looking forward to the continuation. Well done sir.

    4. The Angola Deception is a conspiracy/spy/thriller novel, and I received it from NetGalley in return for an honest review. This novel suffers from generic genre mediocrity in the worst possible way. Reading this book I felt like I was again a naive teenager growing up in the 90s - watching the movie Conspiracy Theory, getting all worked up about FEMA, the New World Order, the Illuminati, and all of those other things you read about on blogs. And to bring it into the 21st Century there was a health [...]

    5. I have read all three of D.C.Alden's books, and think this one is the best amongst tough competition. All three are well plotted thrillers: but whereas the first two had quite racially stereotyped bad guys / countries which could feel uncomfortable, this one is more in the realms of corporate / wealth conspiracy, and all the better for it.Highly recommended for page-turning fun, and I look forward to future books.

    6. A possible plotI found this book to be highly interesting g and plausible. The characters to be full of life and well rounded. There were a few slow spots but the action was I intense . I enjoyed the premise of the story and will be interested in reading his second book. You never know what could happen?

    7. A great page turner novelA high-speed thriller that just gets better and better with every page turned would definitely recommend it to lovers of action novelx
