    1. So I start reading this book as a followup to the first book (Union of Renegades). After the first book I thought I might get disappointed since I loved the first, but I could not have been more wrong. Tracy picks your imagination right up where she had left you and brings you deeper into her rabbits hole. I have to admit that after this I can not and I really mean can not wait to read the other two in the series. Matter of fact I am starting on the third (Judgment Rising) as I post this. Tracy [...]

    2. The first book was great, this book was fantastic. The 1st half was one of the best fantasy books I've read, and then 2nd half good. Towards the end, I was worried that I might not like where the story arc would go for the 3rd book -- but the in the end the 'future' turned in a way I didn't expect, leading me to look forward to starting the 3rd book!

    3. A wonderful sequel to the first book. Again, I had a wonderful time reading this well past my usual bedtime. This pits tyranny against benevolence. A magical race and a human (non-magical) race, yet the two races eventually work together to overthrow the tyrant. The characters are well developed and interesting.

    4. Another truly amazing adventure from an remarkable author. Following on the adventure with characters I've come to know and love, in this series. Some twists and turns, some sad and happy moments. A series that delivers entertainment with every book. Highly recommended.

    5. I loved this story. There is a lot of action, a little romance and a little comedy, and a lot of tragedy. There is also wonderful triumph and I was engrossed all the way through this book.

    6. I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first one. The author's evolution from one book to another is really obvious.
