    1. (Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to author M.M. Roethig.)“I just need to get away from all this. I can’t concentrate on anything anymore.”This was an adult story about a woman plagued by a secret admirer.Chloe was quite obviously shaken by her run-in with her scary secret admirer, and the way Eric at first didn’t take that seriously was a bit annoying. The storyline in this was partly about Chloe and her stalker, and partly about [...]

    2. I ended up really enjoying this one. I saw a friends review and was intrigued with the synopsis. I have a close friend that was a dancer for the Utah Jazz, my husband is a Marine and I studied stalkers a bit in college. So, I already felt a connection to the story before I even started. Chloe is a Laker Girl, she loves to dance and loves her job but over the past little while she has been receiving anonymous gifts that are starting to get more and more extravagant. Things escalate to the point w [...]

    3. (I received a copy from the author, In exchange for an honest review.)I didn't love the characters in this, but they weren't awful. There were a few times where I felt quite bored while reading this, but it was an okay read overall.

    4. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. The story follows a dancer and a marine meeting under unplanned circumstances. Chloe; a famous dancer in the LA laker Girls, is forced leaving everything behind to runaway from an obssessed stalker. Until the police are able to capture him, Chloe accepted the invitation of her best friend Parker to stay at his family house along with his twin brother Eric. Eric is a damaged soldier suffering from phys [...]

    5. Dangerous Obsession by MM Roethig is a romantic suspense. I wasn’t sure if I would like Chloe but I absolutely did. She is a dancer for the LA Lakers but she is a real person who you will love and fight for and be terrified on her behalf as her crazy stalker escalates. Chloe comes to stay with her friend Parker after the stalker escalates. When he gets called out of town she then goes to stay with his twin brother Eric. Eric is a Marine who is home with injuries from the war; both physical and [...]

    6. Thanks to author M.M. Roethig. I received a digital copy of this book for a free read-to-review.This is a very addictive quick read. I really like both the characters – Marine Eric & Lakers Girl Chloe, though it seems their romance started at an instant. It was easy to guess who the stalker is at the start of the book. There were very intense but clean romantic scenes, but probably a little too many. The violent scenes were written very well, I can visualise and feel the pain too. Overall [...]

    7. This book was a quick read. I loved Eric as a character so much. He was my favorite. I felt like the stalker was made too obvious and I felt myself screaming at the book when she was talking to him. I loved the tension between the characters and the drama of it all. Eric and Chloe's relationship did seem to spark a little too quickly for my liking, but I guess stressful situations will do that. Overall, I really enjoyed the read and would recommend it.

    8. This was a really good book. I enjoyed the writing the storyline and the characters. I have to admit I had a hard time reading a certain part with some physical violence, but it was part of the story. It was clean and I loved the hero.

    9. Chloe is a dancer she loved to dance.even though she has the looks and the fame she isn't the stereotype. she is actually cool and kind. But over the recent weaks she has been reviving anonymous gifts even an exaggerated engagement ringis is when she begins to freak out.well there was a few more scary incidents including the obsessed guy breaking into her house this was what triggered the decision to stay away for while.Eric was a marine he has a past that haunts him too add in a obnoxious EX-wif [...]

    10. So I just finished reading this book, and it was really good. When I started reading this book, I didn't really have high expectations of how the book would end. So when I read it through, I didn't just love the ending, I also loved how I got to learn the characters in the book. Getting to read about all these struggles the characters had , and how they got through them, by showing each other support and love, was just so fascinating. - A big thanks to M.M. Roethig, for sending me a copy of her b [...]

    11. A fantastic book! This is the first book I've read written by M.M. Roethig and I was hooked to the bones!!!! Made me cry, fall in love, then cry again! Fantastic book! Chloe and Eric's story is amazing! And also the bonus novella, Parker's story too touched my heart! Loved it!! I'm excited to read more of M.M. Roethig's books! I wish there would be stories of Eric's friends too

    12. Two for oneThis is a book plus a short story. So The book was good and I was going to give it three stars because I felt it was too long and the bad guy was too easy to pick out. The short story about Eric's twin, Parker, was great and I give it a five star making the this average out to a four. Will I read this book again? Probably not, but I will loan it out!

    13. This novel is Chloe and Eric's story. Eric, an ex Marine sent home due to injuries in war time. Chloe is a dancer with the L. A. Lakers and being stalked. When the stalker leaves an engagement ring for her, she really gets scared. All gifts have been anonymous and left with security guards at the Lakers games. One night Chloe is attacked by said stalker and is encouraged by police to leave town for a time. Her friend Parker who happens to be Eric's brother invites her to Colorado to stay with hi [...]

    14. A woman forced to leave her dream job finds herself in the care of someone who doesn't want her around after all security in her life has been stripped away It's a suspenseful, heart wrenching plot and from the moment I started this book I was caught up in the story and the plight of the main characters. I found myself rooting for them both to open their hearts and let love heal them. The author does a fantastic job of weaving in the clues without giving away the story, and the bonus story at the [...]
