    1. Thicker Than Water, the third book in The Grayson Trilogy by Georgia Rose is an epic mysterious ride that began to feel like a Bond movie. James Bond, of course. Yet this not only shook me up, it stirred my curiosity at all turns. Well worth the wait for this final installment. Full of surprises that had me in great anticipation. My imagination ran wild. The author takes you on an empowering thriller that is approachable, heart-wrenching and impactful. I love her inviting writing style as it is [...]

    2. Thicker Than Water is book 3 of the Grayson trilogy and brings to a conclusion the tale around Emma Grayson a divorcee who lost a child and wanted to start a new life. She runs the horse yard on a private estate which is a front for a secret organisation. In this book Emma has now married estate Manager Trent and finds herself pregnant. A mysterious package arrives for her via MI6 and sets off alarm bells which lead to revelations about her past life. But Emma is also in grave danger from a terro [...]

    3. Thicker Than Water brings the story of Emma and Trent to a very satisfactory conclusion. Georgia Rose has answered all the questions thrown up in the first two books, and we are left feeling that while Emma may have wished things to end differently, she and Trent are out there now, getting on with their lives, and hopefully happy. An exciting, sensitive book with realistic characters. Highly recommended.

    4. The final part of this trilogy has a most unexpected and unusual twist. I certainly hadn't seen it coming. Once again a very well plotted novel with excellent characterisation. Emma and Trent have had a wonderful romance across all three books made so interesting by the exciting thriller into which their love story is woven. I really enjoyed reading this novel plus the extra section at the end.

    5. I'm not typically drawn to this genre of book -- which I'd define as "romantic thriller" -- but I've enjoyed this writer's take on the topic of books and writers on her blog, so it seemed time to explore some of her narrative work. I picked up copies of all three of her Grayson Trilogy and was immediately swept up into the saga of Emma Grayson. Though I've read the entire series -- A Single Step, Before the Dawn, and this one, Thicker Than Water -- I am leaving my review here because my perspect [...]

    6. Georgia Rose knows what makes a standard thriller. She just doesn’t play with those rules. This isn’t exactly a surprise. In my review of A Single Step, the first book in her Grayson series, I noted that “Her version of gothic does indeed involve an orphaned heroine, the grieving Emma Grayson. But from that point on, Georgia Rose grabs hold of the gothic genre with both hands and makes it her own.” In my review of the next book in the series, Before the Dawn, I pointed out that she’d d [...]

    7. Thicker Than Water is the final instalment of Georgia Rose’s The Grayson Trilogy. As a massive fan of the first two novels, it was with a mixture of excitement and trepidation that I approached this story. On the one hand, I couldn’t wait to find out what was happening to the central characters, Emma and Trent, along with the finely crafted supporting characters but, on the other, did I really want my investment in their world to be over? I needn’t have worried because Rose rewards her rea [...]

    8. Emma Grayson has come on in leaps and bounds since we were first introduced to her in A Single Step, book 1 of the Grayson Trilogy, as a damaged woman who suffered significant personal losses, the death of her child and the resulting breakdown of her marriage. From the beginning tantalising questions have been dropped into the narrative. For instance, who anonymously delivered the advert for the position at Melton Manor estate to Emma? As turned out, it was the perfect job for her and relocation [...]

    9. Thicker Than Water is the last book in the The Grayson Trilogy. I read the first book, a Single Step, and enjoyed it. I had not read the second book before accepting this one to review, but I took the advice of the author and read that one, too.Georgia Rose is quickly becoming the queen of romantic adventure. All of the characters that her readers have come to know are back, along with some great, semi-explicit sex, and the gradual revealing of answers to questions left from the previous two boo [...]

    10. This is the third book in the Grayson Trilogy by British author Georgia Rose. Time has moved on at Melton Manor but the cast remain in place for the final adventure of Emma Grayson et al.The title is inspired as readers will discover and the cover design, an intriguing hint of the backdrop for the plot, with the overriding theme being one of unconditional love. The relationship between Emma and her main foil has evolved, leaving us in no doubt of their commitment and hopes for the future. Tissues [...]

    12. A young woman's hard-won future with her new husband is threatened by an enemy from her past. All of the characters we've come to love from The Grayson Trilogy are back as author Georgia Rose sets them off on new paths and also resolves longstanding mysteries. Rose gives us a meaty plot set firmly in Emma's point of view, which allows us to experience events as if we're there living through them. Departing from past installments, though, THICKER THAN WATER features a secondary POV, one which pops [...]

    13. Putting down the third book and wiping away tears I mulled things over, trying to pin point just what it was that pulled me in.What was it that had me reading the last two books of this trilogy in a marathon afternoon into evening read?It wasn’t the flowery language or exquisitely turned phrases. In fact the language of this book is very simple. Coffee is made, horses are cared for, the thoughts in Grayson’s head are just like thoughts that might be in mine.Just, normal – stuff. And I think [...]

    14. Please see booklovercircumspect4/2015 for the full review. This is the third book of the Grayson Trilogy. The author is very honest in the beginning of the book that you must read the trilogy in order as she does not summarize the first or second book in the third book. So, I picked up this book last night to start to read a few chapters, but I COULD NOT put it down, and I finished the whole book into the late night hours. In Thicker Than Water, we are back with Grayson and Trent on Melton Manor [...]

    15. Thicker than Water is the final book in The Grayson Trilogy by Georgia Rose. It draws together the romance and dramatic events of the first two books in a revealing denouement where Emma Grayson discovers the truth about her past, in a terrifying situation.Although seeming not as long as the preceding books, Thicker than Water contains scenes of passion and deep emotion. We fear for the continued happiness of Emma and her husband Trent as they deliberately put themselves into great danger. Will [...]

    16. Emma Grayson's story continues at Melton Manor where she lives in a cottage on the estate looking after the horses and stables. While Cavendish and the team recover from the latest encounter with the Polzin organisation, Emma and Trent are married and Emma finds out she is expecting a baby.As the third book in the trilogy, this story brings Emma and her past life to the fore. Hints from the previous two books are explored and Emma's journey is an emotional one. The supportive cast from the estat [...]

    17. This last part of the Grayson Trilogy reads more like an edgy thriller than the first two books. Things start to look perilous for Emma again as she receives a cryptic message from someone who has obviously been watching her. As the identity of this person comes to light it turns everything Emma has known about her past and herself upside down. However, there is much more at stake now that Emma is pregnant and Trent is not going to be taking any chances with her safety or the baby's.I found this [...]

    18. I enjoyed this final part of the Grayson Trilogy. It was shorter than the first two books but there was drama and the solving of a mystery. The clues were there and the solution was not so much a surprise, rather a relief that it took place before it was too late. I had expected something to happen in Emma's personal life but it seems that I was lead into a blind alley by some parts of the earlier story line. The whole series was a wonderful mix of memorable characters living in a close communit [...]

    19. A romance in which the heroine loses her identity and has to face her greatest fear, losing someone she loves. The hero feels helpless in the face of these perils, both emotionally and physically, but neither can afford to run away as too much is at stake.Trent needs to protect Emma at all costs, but she makes it difficult for him with her fearsome independence. When a third party causes the stakes to rise, and Emma's life is threatened once again, can Trent keep her safe? The third party is intr [...]

    20. This third part in the Grayson Trilogy brings everything to a satisfying conclusion. It answers questions raised in the first two parts of the trilogy and neatly ties up all the loose ends while introducing plenty of additional emotion and drama. The character development of Emma is excellent. Through the three books in this trilogy the reader feels as though they have been taken on Emma's journey with her and can identify with the traumas she has experienced. The author has done a great job wit [...]

    21. Marvelous ConclusionI was so very excited to read this but a bit sad that the trilogy would be over. The story didn't disappoint. It was the most suspenseful of the trilogy and full of so many twists and turns. It is really very well written, I found myself surprised over and over again with unexpected shifts in the plot. Ms. Rose knows how to craft a complex web and I highly recommend this. I think this was my favorite of the trilogy, they were all wonderful, but there was something about this [...]

    22. Thoroughly enjoyable and well writtenI have no hesitation in giving this final in the trilogy a five star rating. It was colossal edge of the seat fun reading, peopled by characters I was heavily invested in through the first two books. I very much appreciated the ride the author takes us on, stretching the limits of the interactions believably, but still painted with larger than life broad strokes. Congratulations on a well plotted, well written and engagingly exciting story. I look forward to [...]

    23. For the TrilogyI believe I read all three of these books without a pause. The plot was intriguing, and would appeal to readers of a wide variety of genres. The author has mastered the art of painting a picture with words, and I found myself transported, through all my senses, to her settings. These were a delight to read, with few predictable outcomes. Please add these books to your library.

    24. A brilliant trilogy! I don't usually like this type of story but my interest was engaged from page 1 of the first book. Will be looking out for further books by this author.
