    1. Getting to Know Jesus: An Invitation to Walk with the Lord Day by Day by Eric Kampmann is a 365-day devotional journal, focusing on getting closer to Jesus. Each devotional, which takes up less than a page, includes a Bible verse and a corresponding message based on that verse. Two of my favorite devotionals were “I am the Good Shepherd,” based on John 10: 11-16, and “Judging,” based on Matthew 7: 1 – 2. I think that each page will allow the reader to learn more about the Bible and Jes [...]

    2. I am so happy that I have this book. I've been reading it every morning and it is a wonderful way to start my day. I decided to review it now and not wait until I am done because I read one paragraph each day and this book deserves a review so others can get it and enjoy it as much as I am. There are certain books I hold on to and this book is going to be one of them.

    3. I enjoyed how this book combined the gospels into one story of Jesus. It's a nice overview of Jesus's life with some application to our lives.

    4. This book is a wonderful daily read. I find myself looking forward to the reading for each day and reflecting on what I’ve read, sometimes for days afterward. As someone who was looking for a way to reconnect with God, and her faith, this book was the answer. The book is written in the format of a paragraph a day. I often find myself skipping ahead, because some days just one paragraph isn’t enough. Some days, I find myself flipping back through the pages looking for past inspirations to lea [...]

    5. This was given to me to read and give an honest review of it. It is written as a daily devotion with verses from the Bible to read. I don't think I can read it straight thru. I've enjoyed this book because you can start reading at the first because it is not dated for a specific day and time you need to start reading it. It' has many good verses to read and it has a good study on each page. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to study the Bible in this way.
