    2. Mail Order Husband FrankEnjoyed this, story. Charlotte was a resourceful young lady. A dutiful daughter and sister. When her circumstances changed, she was brave e nough to follow her friend advice and correspondent with Frank. Both were a bIt unconventional and opinionated, but it seemed suited for each. Her mother surprised her by being more understanding than she expected. Luckily, a ready made family became available right after their marriage. Jeremiah and Benjamin were lucky that Charlotte [...]

    3. Charlotte supported her mother and herself after her fathers death. The money her father left was used to send her older brother to school. Charlotte became a newspaperman. She dressed as a man and wrote using a mans name. Now her brother is finished with law school has a job and is getting married. Charlotte decides she does not want to live with her brother and his wife and is determined to be a mail order bride. She writes to a friend in Montana and asks her opinion. 4. This is a fun, light read. The story moves fast, getting to the point and ending faster than I like. The characters are fun, the relationships enjoyable to learn, but nothing terribly complex about them. Content wise, it's very clean. No cursing, no sex.It is a part of a series, but is fine as a stand-alone. I am tempted to read the others in my reading downtime--if I don't have a more complex read to get into.

    5. Mail Order HusbandMail Order Husband is an interesting variation on the popular mail order bride books, though it not a complete turn-around on the concept. For instance, it is still the bride who travels across the country to the west. However, this groom is not anxious to acquire a bride and does not advertise for one. He has to be persuaded.

    6. Mail Order Husbands FrankThis is a very good book. I like the way the story has them exchanging letters often to get to know each other before she decides to go out to meet him. I recommend this book to anyone who likes love stories.

    7. Good readA simple, sweet read. Needs some editing for grammar and words missing. I can no longer read because of a stroke, so I use text to speech on my Kindle. Reading aloud locates errors your brain corrects when reading silently.

    8. EbookA young woman gets her chance to do newspaper reporting by becoming a mailorder bride. Luckily a former teacher has recommended the editor and they hit it off writing letters. She travels to the west to make a new life

    9. EnjoyI had love reading the other books and it kept me reading. This book also hold my interest. I can not wait to read the next book.

    10. 2.5 maybeOverly simplistic and with two few challenges in their relationship. MC likable enough but it was just too easy. Also book was sloppily edited, which is disappointing.

    11. I love to read books in the 19th century. This is a short novella, Frank lives in Billings, Montana and owns a news paper business. Charlotte lives in New York taking care of her mother and working while her brother is in school becoming a lawyer. Her brother had graduated and returned home, leaving Charlotte free from caring for her Mom. Leah, a good friend of Charlotte's told Frank about Charlotte, letters start flowing between Frank and Charlotte. The couple is connected with the news paper b [...]

    12. Great bookI love this mail order bride book.It was a little different and the twist at the end makes the book.
