    1. Reading this book was like looking in the mirror at our family life. Many years ago Robert Hughes wrote Running with Walker which I directed people to in order to get a taste of our life that I couldn't just explain. And now I would do the same with this book. It is not an easy read whether you are living it (like us) or not. Walker's journey and his family's is that of many ups and downs and the downs are bad. I borrowed this book from our local lending library because my adult son has autism and find it helpful to read how others cope when someone in the family is autistic.Couldn't put this book down as their was so much love on every page and I needed my tissues at my side.Very well written and inspirational story. Very highly recommended. Would give 10 stars if I could.
