    1. Author, Leslie Lynch vividly describes the world of Ella, Natalie, and Gert, three generations of women, in this story set during the Christmas season. The sights and smells in the book came alive as I listened to this story via audible. I entered their busy world as I worked to get ready for mine. I related most to Ella, the feelings, and emotions she had as a mother/daughter/wife. She felt torn as life dealt her situations. Each one screamed at her, "I'm most important," and Ella had to look d [...]

    2. Leslie Lynch breaks new ground in her second Christmas novella. Although she invites us to spend Christmas on the other side of Louisville, Kentucky, she warns us to steer clear of Gertie, Ella and Natalie—three generations of brokenhearted women who dread the holidays.Recently widowed, awash in grief, and stumbling through the shambles of her life, Gertie, 74, gathers more grief than consolation from her daughter. She avoids the domineering Ella, 50, during the holidays.Mason, Ella’s husban [...]

    3. My age lines up somewhere between the three generations of women who serve as the protagonists of Christmas Grace, but through Leslie Lynch's storytelling, I related to each of them.Expectant mother Natalie, middle-aged Ella, and grandmotherly Gertie are each challenged by their circumstances and relationships as Christmas approaches. These strong women (and the men who love and support them) withstand every curve life sends them - whether it's loneliness, a health crisis, or the stresses and st [...]

    4. Christmas Grace by Leslie Lynch is a heart-warming novella that takes place during the holidays. The story focuses on three generations of women, each faced with their own problems as Christmas approaches. The family dynamics ring true for the widowed grandmother trying to spice up her golden years, Ellen stuck in a less than blissful marriage as she watches out for her aging mother and expecting daughter, and the pregnant daughter/granddaughter faced with a risky delivery while her husband is o [...]

    5. This enjoyable novella is a great Christmastime read. Ella has her hands full as she prepares to launch her own line of pottery, and she finds herself having to juggle her recently-widowed mother's dating life, her daughter's complicated pregnancy, and her husband's request that she host an important corporate event on very short notice.I'd have been happy to read more about these characters, especially Ella's spunky mom, Gertie!

    6. Christmas Grace is the fifth heartwarming story in The Appalachian Foothills series written by author Leslie Lynch.

    7. I enjoyed this story up until the end . It's one very very long sap fest . Yuck! Couldn't wait for the final chapter to end .
