    1. Supergirl may have great powers, but she has no clue how to control them. Not to mention, she’s the new girl at a school for incredible superheroes who have skills beyond belief. When mysterious happenings occur at her school, she will have to find her confidence, trust her friends, and get ready to defend the planet she’s learning to love. What I Loved:The premise of this series is fantastic. Readers will love seeing some of their favorites as high-schoolers nervous about school projects and [...]

    2. This review and many more can be found on my blog: Feed Your Fiction AddictionThis book is SO much fun, and it’s perfect for MG and early YA readers. My daughter and I both read this one and both thoroughly enjoyed it. It provides lots of super hero action but also has a sweet message about believing in yourself. I highly recommend this for MG readers! This is the second book in the DC Super Hero Girls Series, but it can definitely be read alone (neither my daughter nor I had read the first one [...]

    3. The second book in the DC Super Hero Girls and this time our main lead girl is Supergirl. I was really eager to read this one, Supergirl is just amazing, and I couldn't wait to see her in this version. The book starts off with before-Super Hero High, it all starts with Supergirl's/Kara's planet exploding, and her losing her parents. She is shot off to Earth, only due to some stuff she doesn't arrive the same time as someone else does. It was fun to see where she landed, and to see the Kent famil [...]

    4. Copy provided by publisher When the planet Krypton is in danger of exploding, Kara Zor-El's parents put her in an escape craft and send her to earth. She ends up living with the Kents, although Clark is a good ten years older due to variances in the time-space continuum. While the Kents are very nice to her, she feels that she should probably go to school somewhere else, and Korugar Academy. She also is a fan of Wonder Woman, so she's okay with going to Super Hero High. When she arrives, however [...]

    5. 4 stars, really liked it. I always wish we could do half ratings tho, i would do 4 and 1/2. This book is more for younger kids than adults.

    7. This was actually a lot better than I expected it to be. It managed to be cute and funny without getting too cheesy or corny. It is, as others have already said here, an excellent introduction to the DC world for younger readers. And for those already familiar with DC a pleasant, light-hearted read full of fun references. Also this book more than passes the Bechdel test and I think this is rare enough in books marketted at young girl like this one that it's worth noticing. In fact there is litte [...]

    8. Read aloud with my daughter. I think it's a cool concept in that it provides a different entry point to the DC Superhero universe, and that it shines the spotlight on the girl heroes in a formative period of time that allows kids to relate to them in that way. I thought the backstory catch up was pretty decent, and the ties to other stories. What I didn't like was the actual reading experience, as an adult - the plot meandered and got repetitive, a few plot points were super obvious and loudly t [...]

    9. Book #10 Read in 2017Supergirl at Super Hero High by Lisa YeeThis is the second book in a cute series that would be perfect for middle school girls. In this book, Supergirl heads to Super Hero High to learn how to control her powers. She of course joins the others in saving their city and beating the bad guys. These are cute, good reads. I borrowed this book from the public library.

    10. I really enjoyed the 2nd book in the series. Supergirl feels extremely out of place at a new school, something I think most kids can relate to. She doubts herself which causes her to make mistakes. She makes friends with Barbara Gordon who helps her to believe in herself and to slow down.

    11. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It is more of a middle school or even junior high than a high school, and that's about my biggest complaint. The book can get a little repetitive and overdone but no worse than any other book written for this age group. Overall, not bad.

    12. This series continues to be predictable with no real conflict. The moral messages are in your face and preachy.

    13. Very cute. But sloths do not have prehensile tails, Beast Boy! How are you a sloth hanging from a giant crystal by your tail?

    14. A much better read than Book 1. Lisa seems to be comfortable with the genre, exploring Super Girl as conflicted despite her powers. The issues of being a stranger and an orphan are presented.

    15. My daughter and I enjoyed this book, as we did with the first. I am a big comic book fan and this has been passed down to my 5-year-old daughter, who is crazy about Superhero Girls. I have loved these characters for a long time and it has been good to see them cast in this new light; teenagers learning to deal with their powers and friendships. I am familiar with the cartoon series DC Superhero Girls; which my 5-year-old and 3-year-old love watching and acting out (certain aspects of the cartoon [...]

    16. I loved this book!! It was such a fun, entertaining read. I really enjoyed the first book, Wonder Woman at Super Hero High, but I REALLY enjoyed Supergirl at Super Hero High. Everything about it – the writing, the characters, the plot – was epic!I really liked Supergirl as a main character. I loved how klutzy and kind she was. These things made her feel very real and relatable. I loved learning her backstory, especially since I know a lot about Superman (and a little bit about Supergirl) fro [...]

    17. The DC Super Hero Girls series is a new favorite, I must admit. I just finished reading Supergirl at Super Hero High about ten minutes ago and I am still grinning from the fun of it all! Once again, Lisa Yee has created a fun, adventurous, mysterious, action-packed novel that is sure to appeal to comic book fans everywhere!Previously in the world of Super Hero High, we met Wonder Woman. At the end of that novel, a new super hero arrived on the scene: Supergirl! I mentioned in my review for Wonde [...]

    18. I received Supergirl at Super Hero High from the publisher and this is my honest review.Supergirl at Super Hero High by Lisa Yee follows a new student at Super Hero High of course. The first book in this series followed Wonder Woman who works to control her powers and becomes student of the month. With this new title she becomes responsible for new student, Supergirl which is what the second book focuses on.I love that in the beginning of the story we get background on Kara (supergirl) before ju [...]

    20. Super Hero High’s newest student has arrived and she may just be the most powerful teenager in the galaxy! After losing her beloved Krypton and family, Supergirl has found a home with the loving Kents and her super cousin, but she knows she must attend a high school with others like her. Supergirl arrives at Super Hero High and, while she quickly makes friends with Wonder Woman and her crew, she still isn’t sure if Super Hero High is the best place for her. She quickly bonds with the kind li [...]

    21. Supergirl hasn't been on earth for very long. When she crash landed she was a teenager and her cousin found her and gave her over to his earth parents John and Martha Kent. They took her in and tried to help her but as she was a teenager her powers fueled by the sun came on really fast and she was having troubles containing them. They decided it would be best to send her to Super Hero High so she could learn how to use her powers. Kara wanted to go to a different hero school as she seen that the [...]

    22. This book was great it takes you on a amazing adventure with super girl and her friends Wonder Woman and batgirl fighting the evil librarian.

    23. I feel like right now there’s a confession I should make. I’m not a huge DC fan. My house is full of Marvel fans and that’s pretty much where we stay. But I grew up loving Superman and Wonder Woman, so I wanted to see what this book, geared toward kids, was like. Did it capture the feelings I had for these heroes as I was growing up?Thankfully, yes, it did. Though it was still tilted to some new ideas. In this book, all the superheroes we know and love are teenagers, but their overarching [...]
