    1. This was a nice story to learn a bit more about St. Lucia day. My kids enjoyed it, and I liked how it included recipes and a pattern to make a Lucia gown. The prose could have been better, more history incorporated into it rather than just being the story of one family on St. Lucia day, but overall my kids liked it better than the non-fiction St. Lucia book I got too.

    2. My Christmas book of the day -- I have Swedish Heritage so the book was interesting in that respect for me.
