    1. Daisy McDare and the Deadly Real Estate Killer is book four in the series by K.M. Morgan. Like the others, it is a quick and easy and fun read for summer. Daisy is on her way to a new job. She is decorating the model home for Stinson and Sons Construction. She doesn’t know how well they will sell because they are on the outskirts of town and far from the center of town. However, they are affordable and she is thinking of buying one herself. When she arrives, she witnesses an argument between P [...]

    2. This is a short book for a murder mystery with an interior designer sleuth who has a soft spot for sweets. Daisy McDare is the interior designer by profession but a super sleuth on the side when dead bodies keep popping up wherever she goes. As a character, she doesn't seem that bad but she has a few qualities that don't really make her seem like that great of a person. I know she's supposed to be an interior designer but the way she's written doesn't really say if she's good or not at her job s [...]

    3. Daisy is tired of being involved in detective work. She is about to start a new decorating job and is hoping that there will not be anymore drama in her life. Daisy is hired to decorate a model home for a new development. She goes out shopping and is prepared to get started the next day. Upon arrival though she see police cars and flashing lights. Someone killed the owner of the firm in charge of the new subdivision. Daisy wasn't going to get involved until suspicion turns to a family friend. Sh [...]

    4. The editing is atrocious! The misspellings, punctuation and low intellect word usage is just appalling. Plus the total unreality the author wants you to swallow throughout the text This book is for the stupid.

    5. This is K.M. Morgan's fourth book in this series. Interior designer, Daisy McDare, finds herself decorating a model home in the Majestic Estates of Stinson and Sons Construction Company which, in reality, is a cheap housing development. Her job is to give it an upscale appearance. Prior to her employment, Daisy’s soon to be boss is overheard firing an employee who wanted to be paid fairly. That individual told Daisy about the job opportunity. Following that, she overhears arguments he has with [...]

    6. Cozy Creek. Daisy McDare (interior decorator) & Gavin Watson (PI) were seeing quite a lot of each other. As were Rosie (Gavin’s corgi) & Shamus (Daisy’s West Highland terrier).Samantha Johnson (Daisy’s BFF) owned/ran Sweet Tooth.Stinson & Sons Construction had hired Daisy to do the decorating on a brand-new model home in a new housing development area called Majestic Estates.Daisy had just arrived & overheard Scott Stinson (65+, owner) firing Patrick Potter (45+, constructi [...]

    7. Daisy Mcdare is back. She has another design job, but this time she's designing a model home for a jerk real estate developer. When her boss once again turns up dead she's in the middle of another murder investigation. This time though she doesn't want to get involved, but when a family friend is taken in, she must dust off her inner investigator and find the real killer before they can strike again.Daisy has some pretty bad luck. Somehow her bosses keep ending up dead. Why do people keep hiring [...]

    8. This is another humorous, cupcake-tasting murder mystery with Daisy McDare. This time Daisy, an interior decorator, has a job decorating the model home in the Majestic Estates of Stinson and Sons Construction Co. The housing is anything but majestic. And of course, Daisy finds out about all the arguments between the Scott, the owner, his wife and their sons. The day she shows up to decorate, Daisy finds out her friend who is the foreman of the construction crew is fired. Then she finds out the nex [...]

    9. This book was given to me from the author to read and review. It is very short, almost like a short story. I have to be honest, it was not very well written. The characters were not developed and pretty uninteresting. The main character, Daisy, had a real addiction to chocolate. The story almost revolves around her chocolate. The plot is very predictable and the conversations choppy. It was difficult to finish this and would not recommend it.

    10. I was provided a free copy of this book by the author. I did not enjoy it at all but finished it because the author asked me to read it. This book is very disappointing from every perspective. I do not recommend this book or this author.

    11. This was the first book I have read by K.M. Morgan and I thought it was AWESOME!! This book was so fast paced and full of suspects. Daisy Is always outsmarting Detective Crumple. I can't wait to read the entire series!!

    12. I received a free copy of this book in a giveaway and voluntarily chose to review it.This was an enjoyable story about an interior designer that ends up in the middle of a murder mystery. Daisy is the type of person that would much rather watch a romantic comedy that a murder mystery, but she is caught up in the situation and cannot let the an innocent person go to prison for a crime they did not commit. It is a light hearted story without the "edge of your seat" tension involved in a lot of mys [...]

    13. This was the first book of this series I've read, and its interesting. I read the audiobook version and Found that it was really good. I love the accents and how interesting the plot is.I think if you like kind of short cozy mysteries, this series is totally worth the read, in print or audio.I received this free book, in return for an unbiased review

    14. Fun, short cozy read. Even though Daisy McDare only wants to be an interior decorator, she once again is involved with solving a murder. Her family friend is wrongly accused and she has to find the real killer. Love that she still visits the Sweet Tooth and Granny Annie for her cupcakes.

    15. I received free a 3 book set evidently no longer offered. which included The Deadly Art Affair. The Deadly Legal Affair, and The Deadly Directorial Affair -- those are in order book 1 then 2 then 3 of the series. The background information is repetitious unless you are reading stand alone books, so in a set is very, very repetitious. For example, I do not need to be told, each and every story, just who her grandmother is. The stories seem to be trying to be a cross between murder she wrote and A [...]

    16. Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books1 star This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.2 stars This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.3 stars This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.4 stars I really [...]

    17. All of Morgan's Daisy McDare Cozy Creek Mystery books begin with "The Deadly" and end with "Affair" and there are at least 8 of them to date although this is the first I've read. I couldn't find any information as to whether K.M. Morgan is male or female but I suspect KM is the latter. Perhaps I'm stereotyping but without pictures or a definite fact (like a pronoun) the author is left open to that.Daisy McDare lives in Cozy Creek, British Columbia, Canada within a day's travel from the better-kn [...]

    18. Quick read . . . However, the characters and plot did not feel realistic in any manner. The writing was filled with bad grammar (including too many similes, in lieu of a detailed description). I usually find cozy mysteries fun. Even though I love to download 'free' ebooks, I am not interested in the three 'free' ebooks offered at the end of this one. I did not enjoy this book and don't plan to read any others in this series.

    19. The Decorating Detective A cute story of an interior decorator who can't mind her own business. Hired to turn a crummy little house into an estate, Daisy has her work cut out for her. The death of her boss and arrest of her friend puts a wrinkle in the works. Daisy has to find the real killer to free her friend.

    21. Fun cozy mystery. But Daisy's sleuthing style left a lot to desired! She just goes talk to suspects and accuses them outright! She also doesn't tell you how she comes to the conclusion about the murderer! And if she keeps eating cupcakes like this, I'll be very fat very soon!

    22. Fast read and good storyThis was a very fast read, good story line, good characters. I enjoyed it and will read the rest of the series. Doesn't seem to matter if you read out of order. This book wasn't depending on previous books. Easy and nice to read before going to bed.

    23. This series just keeps getting better and better!! Daisy heads out to a new job, this time she is decorating the model home for a new subdivision being built on the outskirts of Cozy Creek. She’s even thinking about purchasing one of the homes, dependent on what they actually look like. When she arrives, she overhears an argument with the foreman (who happens to be a friend of the family) and the owner. After he is fired, she overhears the owner arguing with his wife and one of his sons. The n [...]

    25. Daisy McDare's life, both personally and professionally, has not been without bumps. When she is hired to decorate the model home for a new affordable housing subdivision, she thinks life may be looking up. She has a decent boyfriend, some money saved, and is even thinking about putting a deposit on a house. As soon as she gets to the job site her outlook deflates.Owner Scott Stinson can not get through the morning without explosive arguments with anyone in his path. His personality reminds me of [...]

    26. I usually enjoy reading cozies. While being an easy read, I found it difficult to stay engaged in this story. Although, with the simple and repetitive writing style, I truly believe that 4th-6th graders would really enjoy this book. The plot revolves around an interior decorator solving the latest murder, but the story seemed forced. I wanted to know more about the chocolate loving Daisy other than the fact that she's a nosy, pushy person who likes to make the town's detective look bad at his jo [...]

    27. Originally reviewed onSara's Books and Things This book was adorable. It's fast paced, a healthy dose of suspense, and lots of laughs.I always enjoy when the victim is someone you love to hate. That's Scott, the overbearing boss, terrible husband, and father, pick the villain and it fits. I enjoy this type of victim because everyone's a suspect and you don't just guess the answer right away.I also really enjoyed Daisy she loves what she does but she gets herself embroiled in messes to help her f [...]
