    1. There was no difference from the last book except the names!Seriously? The two heroines Sarah and Bobbie both took exceptions to comments made about their looks on the firsr meeting. Both hero's were rushing off to work right after picking them up. Actually, both took them to a small restaurant just before leaving them at home. Both couples had the same disagreements regarding school. Both had the same sleeping arrangements and the same house problems. Both heroines were practically identical in [...]

    2. Liked itA continuation of the American mail order bride series this on is directly connected to Roberta bride of Wisconsin. It is a well written book. Wait for the surprise ending All of the books that I have read so far in this series have been well written and well edited

    3. I was excited to read this book since it takes place in my home state. I thought the story was great and the main characters were interesting. Great read!

    4. This series was my first experience with multiple authors working together to write a series on a large scale. I enjoyed every book in the series and found several new authors that I hadn't read before.

    5. Sarah: Bride of Minnesota (American Mail-Order Bride #32)By: Katie Crabapple4/5 starsSarah and Roberta were best friends and roommates and chose grooms in neighboring states with the hopes that they may still be able to visit each other once in a while. But what they didn’t realize was that they were separated by one of the Great Lakes.Sarah had idealized the way that immigrants loved and how romantic they were, especially after growing up and seeing how her own Irish immigrant parents loved e [...]

    6. Loved itSarah is going to be a mail order bride like her best friend Roberta, she is moving to Minnesota to marry. Sarah and Roberta travel together on the train until Sarah had to switch trains. Karl meets Sarah at the train and is surprised that she is pretty he had told everyone she is pretty disfigured this does not go over very well. Karl introduces Sarah to his neighbor and she introduces her to other women from church, Sarah meets and elderly woman who it's concerned about her young great [...]

    7. Fantastic StorySarah answered an ad to be a mail order bride for a German gentleman in Minnesota. Neither was what the other expected. Karl was willing to take her no matter how ugly she was but she was a beauty. She wasn't expecting him to be so handsome even though he exasperated her to no end. I enjoyed reading their story as they got to know one another. I loved the ending.

    8. Okay story. I thought she was a little snappish in the beginning. Yes, he did think she was going to be ugly, but my goodness, she was fried about it. Seemed a little over the top. I was more concerned about his controlling attitude of he devoting all her time to him. To me that would be a red flag

    9. Loved itI greatly enjoyed this VERY touching story! The author has done a good job of using the characters in a way to really put a great spin on the whole series of stories about the women of the tragic plant fire. I enjoy reading this series of mail order brides, it is a wonderful idea!

    10. Loved it!Katie Crabapple has done a phenomenal job writing Sarah's story and incorporating Roberta's story line within. Great read and it gave me so much pleasure to give Roberta a hug to end her story. Loved it! Karl is such a lovable character that you just can't not like him.

    11. SweetGreat story, and I particularly enjoyed the characters. Karl the German bachelor thought sure his mail order bride must be ugly, but was in for a surprise. Sarah, an Irish romantic didn't know what to think of his first efforts to be romantic. The interactions as the story developed kept me smiling. This was a sweet romance, a fun, feel-good read.

    12. I read Poppy Bride of Alaska first and was pleasantly surprised that this was one of her roommates! I had not intended to have the stories connect but truly enjoyed this connection! This is another sweet beautiful story of finding love and hope in your future! Absolutely loved it!

    13. Sarah's story was tepid. There was a lot about the work she did throughout the day. She knitted and sewed a lot, and baked lots of cookies. The relationship with her husband was not the focal point of this story at all. Didn't hate it. but didn't love it either.

    14. Great book!!!Loved this book. I couldn't put the book down, it hooked me from the get go. Must read great great book!!!

    15. Sweet readI loved that the author kept this book so sweet and simple. A story about blossoming love and starting a family.

    16. Sarah and her German Karl were sweet. Karl was such a sweet guy trying to learn how to be romantic. It was a sweet story.
